Okay... so, since I am not well versed in Mecha, I may sound illiterate. I just finished this 50 episode series. Lemme tell you, episodes 1-49 were amazing! The ending.... um... well.... *scratches head*... when I figure it out I will tell you. *ahem* This show does not get the cred it needs though. The show was very artistic and very "out there" for those that are thinking about shows like Inuyasha or Naruto. This show is not uniform like them. The plot twists, although somewhat predictable, really keeps you entertained for the most part for this 50 episode anime. Personally, this ranks up there with Cardcaptor Sakura (yeah I watched it... wanna fight about it?) and really... Cowboy Bebop and Wolf's Rain. The show was amazing... and... just... I dunno how else to explain it but that. The ending though, ruined the show. I mean it was weird enough to see Eureka transform into a butterfly... or being absorbed by the Skurve. However, even THAT had symbolism... But, this ending just... I really dunno how to explain it. Nirvash transforms because of the Amita drive, Eureka is saved because she was willing to take the responsibility to be the new command cluster for the Scab Coral... Earth taken over BY the coral... It... just really makes your head spin when they tried TOO hard to close up loose ends too quickly in episode 50.

My questions:
The artistic subtly was very small at times. However there is the question... do you think it was too much or not enough and why?

Also... SOMEONE EXPLAIN THAT LAST EPISODE TO ME!!!!!!!!

See... I dunno about that. Just because of the very fact that it really was just like... BAM done. I was a little disappointed. I mean episode 50. THAT is the only episode that really didn't make sense and made me scratch my head.

I loved Eureka Seven. I think the entire anime was just done beautifully, and the romance between Renten and Eureka I thought developed wonderfully. To me, the way it ended fit the story. Eureka Seven is probably my favorite anime to date.
