Well, since we're all here because we read the Twilight Series... what are some other good books/series out there? Not necessarily to do with Vampires, but just plain ole' good books in the YA category :]


I like:

Wake
Harry Potter Series (I've only read the first four though sweatdrop )
Sweethearts
The Perks of Being a Wallflower...

and a whole bunch more... :]

Some really good books I've read are:

Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind
The Egyptian Books by Wilbur Smith (River God etc).
Tales of the Otori by Lian Hearn
Womens Murder Club books, Alex Cross series, Maximum Ride series by James Patterson
Inheritence series by Christopher Paolini
... and a heap of other books I can't remember

My favourite books (apart from twilight) would be:
Harry Potter - JK Rowling
The Inheritance Cycle - Christopher Paolini
The Darkweaver Legacy - Mark Robson
The Imperial Series - Mark Robson
A series of unfortunate events - Lemony Snicket
The Night Watch Trilogy - Sergei Lukyanenko
Artemis Fowl - Eoin Colfer
The Chornicles of Narnia - CS Lewis
and loads more. But these are my absolute favourites.

i also like these books:
uglies series- scott westerfeld (totally bubbly-making)
the truth about forever- sarah dessen (it almost had me on the verge of tears)
wild roses- deb caletti (i hate the way her books end, but i still cant stay away from them)
go ask alice- anonymous (a great diary of a young drug addict in the 60's)
sweep series- cate teirnan (a great fictious series about the wiccan side of life.)
and various others, im sure. but those are the ones i can think of.
