Volume 1
Tsukushi Makino is accepted into the prestigious, Eitoku Academy. Life changes dramatically for Tsukushi when her friend falls on Tsukasa Domyoji. Tsukasa is the explosive leader of the "F4," a group of the most powerful, rich and handsome boys. Domyoji refuses to accept Makiko's apology and Tsukushi steps in to protect her friend. A red tag appears in the Tsukushi's locker the next morning which is a sign from the F4 that she is to be bullied by the school. Tskushi continues to stand up to her oppressors.
Volume 2
Tsukushi continues to fight back against the F4 and protect an old friend who has also been given the infamous "red tag." Rui's old flame returns from France. Can Tsukushi really compete with this "perfect gir?" Meanwhile Tsukushi's resistance to the F4 seems like it might actually work!
Volume 3
Tsukushi joins Kazuya and his family for Summer vacaction at their villa in Atami. Friction erupts between Kazuya and Domyoji after Tsukushi and Domyoji's kiss at the end of volume two. Even more juicy tension develops between Shizuka and Rui, but does anything become of it?!
Tsukushi overhears Rui telling Shizuka what he thinks of Tsukushi. Domyoji begins spreading rumors that Tsukushi is in love with him. He soon finds out that she is in love with Rui and he goes on a rampage. His rampage extends to an attack on Tsukushi herself.
Volume 4
Shizuka makes a shocking announcement at her birthday party, which could create some very intriguing possibilities for Tsukushi. Could Tsukushi possibly have Rui for herself? Tsukasa, clouded by the sound of flying planes, asks Tsukushi out on a date that goes very, very wrong.
Volume 5
This volume contains inumerable ups and downs for our heroine, Tsukushi Makino. Domyoji Tsukasa is as jealous as ever with the arrival of Thomas while lurid and embarassing photos of Tsukushi and Thomas emerge. Just when she thought that things couldn't get any worse her tomentors up the ante of creuelty and violence! Will anyone come to her rescue?
Volume 6
Could Tsukushi Makino really fall under Tsukasa Domyoji's spell? Desire and jealously walk hand in hand as the crazed Tsukasa seeks revenge on behalf of Tsukushi. Rui Hanazawa surprises everyone with his return from France. Tsukasa's mixture of cruelty and compassion is as perplexing as ever.
Volume 7
Upon Rui Hanazawa's return from France, Tsukushi's feelings for him also return.
Together, they share a tender moment that is witnessed by Tsukasa. Tsukasa is consumed with rage and swears vengeance upon both of them in spite of the well-meaning interference by his recently arrived infamous older sister!
Volume 8
Tsukasa wants Tsukushi and Rui expelled from Eitoku Academy, and he challenges them to a basketball showdown. Later, thanks to Tsukasa's sister Tsubaki, Tsukushi and Rui are forced to spend a night together. But Rui confesses to Tsukushi that he is still unable to forget about Shizuka.
Volume 9
Tsukasa is headed for New York to break away from his Tokyo life, but just before leaving Rui whispers something to him. When this news finally sinks in Tsukasa goes into another one of his frenzies. Financial troubles weigh heavy on the Makino family as Tsukushi's father is out of a job. It becomes clear that they are completely dependent on her marrying a rich boy from Eitoku Academy. A new boy enters the scene! He is a bit of a nut, but is determined to help Tsukushi.
Volume 10
Rich boy Tsukasa returns to Japan after he discovers the true identity of Tsukushi's "Kinsan." Tsukushi herself is having trouble accepting his identity. Then Kinsan invites Tsukushi to a swank party where they bump into Tsukasa, who causes a major scene when Kinsan declares his intentions toward Tsukushi! Still desperate for money, Tsukushi goes to Tsukasa who comes up with a plan that everyone can benefit from. That is, if Tsukushi can win a beauty contest...!
Volume 11

It's Tsukushi's first time abroad, and she and her friend Yuki plan to tear up the slopes on a Canadian snowboarding adventure. But how much fun can Tsukushi really have with Tsukasa and those nasty Eitoku Academy girls always hanging around? Not much, it seems, because Tsukushi is sent out on a wild-goose chase to rescue Yuki in below freezing temperatures. But who will rescue Tsukushi?!
Volume 14
Tsukasa's raucous behavior at Tsukushi's junior high school class reunion has her fed up with him once again. Tuskasa is crushed by this but is too stubborn to apologize. Later, Tuskushi is assaulted by two schoolgirls and then rescued by a "young nerdy boy" who turns out to be Junpei, a famous male model who has been dying to meet Tsukushi! Her dumb luck then gets her involved in a photo shoot with him, and she ends up on the cover of a famous magazine. This causes quite a scene at school, but not nearly as big a scene as when Tsukasa finds the two of them together!
Volume 15
Junpei has promised to protect Tsukushi and always be there for her. His promise comes just in time, since Tsukushi has been given another of the infamous "red slips," the mark of someone targeted for abuse. Meanwhile, Akira and Sojiro are desperately looking for Tsukasa, who has been gone for days. It turns out that Junpei harbors a terrible grudge against Tsukasa and is using Tsukushi as bait to get him! This has shockingly violent results. Later Tsukushi gets dressed up and attends Tsukasa's birthday party. Little does she realize the implications that attendance has!
Volume 16
Tsukasa's 18th birthday doesn't go smoothly at all! Tsukushi is introduced to Kaede, Tsukasa's mother, by way of falling over a table and causing a scene. Kaede tells her to get out, but Tsukasa defends her by declaring that she is precious to him. Thus begins a three-sided war between the three most headstrong people you've ever seen! Tsukushi and Tsukasa get away for a while and spend some time on Tsukasa's boat, but they can't hide from Kaede forever...
Volume 17
Tsukushi and Tsukasa get some quiet time together after they escape the mess of his birthday party, but this quiet can't last for long. Tsukasa's feelings for Tsukushi have at long last been made clear, but Tsukushi is more confused than ever about her feelings for him. Meanwhile, Tsukasa's domineering mother, Kaede, is brewing up plans to keep them apart forever, and she might have found just the thing to do it when she introduces him to his new fiancée!
Volume 18
When the Makino family's finances hit rock bottom yet again, they decide to move to the countryside so Tsukushi's father can earn a living as a fisherman. Poor Tsukushi is left behind in their apartment to try her hand at independent living. A few guests stop by, one most unwelcome--Tsukasa's mother! Tsukushi stands up to the domineering woman, effectively declaring war. Then a housewarming gift from the F4 wreaks havoc on the apartment, leaving Tsukushi homeless! Will anyone take her in?!
Volume 19
When Tsukushi is left homeless, she has no choice but to become a maid in the mansion of her on-and-off boyfriend, Tsukasa. Not only that, but she becomes his own personal maid! Her duties include the dreaded task of waking him up in the morning, a job normally left to three people. Then Tsukasa orders her to come to his room unseen at midnight, causing Tsukushi to panic. Will this pull them closer together or push them further apart?!
Volume 20
Tsukushi has agreed to be Tsukasa's girlfriend! But there's a hitch--she'll go out with him for only two months to see if she can truly love him. Tsukasa is off to a bad start when he ends up smacking the womanizing new boyfriend of Tsukushi's friend Yuki at the end of a double date, making Tsukushi furious. Then Sojiro of the F4 helps Yuki by exacting a little revenge on her playboy boyfriend, and the two wind up on a date together. Tsukushi is worried to death about Sojiro taking advantage of her good friend. The question is…who is using whom?
Volume 21
Tsukasa's mother, Kaede, is back! Can Tsukushi really stay in the home of the woman with whom she is at war?! Kaede takes a new and vicious tack in her obsession to tear Tsukushi away from her upper class son. If Tsukushi can't be bribed, then maybe Kaede can destroy the lives of Tsukushi's friends! Tsukushi is forced to take extreme measures--but what course will she choose?!
Volume 22
Tsukushi has left her on-and-off boyfriend Tsukasa, his mansion, her school, and Tokyo altogether! Down and out, she heads for the seaside village where her family has gone to live and work. Unfortunately her parents are about to be run out of town. Just then, visitors from Tokyo arrive!
Volume 23
Tsukushi ends her visit at her parents' quiet seaside home and returns to Tokyo. She is welcomed back with a "girls' night out" and ends up meeting a ton of guys! Unfortunately they all turn out to be losers. In fact, one of the boys turns out to be downright terrifying and bears a striking resemblance to a certain curly haired ex-boyfriend! Could they be related?!
Volume 24
Tsukushi has been unconscious for two days and wakes up in Tsukasa's cousin's home! This terrifying man saved her life and now he's courting her! What is the secret behind this mysterious cousin who so closely resembles Tsukasa, and what could be the reason for his intense hatred of Tsukasa? Why does Tsukasa not know anything about him?

Tsukushi has an on-and-off romantic entanglement with a hothead named Tsukusa. Tsukasa has a sketchy relationship with his even more hotheaded mother named Kaede. Kaede has hired a near sociopath to woo Tsukushi and destroy her son's relationship with Tsukushi once and for all. Will Tsukushi fall for this?!
Volume 26
Tsukushi struggles to understand her feelings for Tsukasa, her on-and-off boyfriend, and he struggles to not destroy Tokyo. Will the man who came between them step aside? The meddlesome F4 try their hand at forcing Tsukushi and Tsukasa together. All the while Tsukasa's mother's spies are hot on their trail!
Volume 27
Tsukushi makes a shocking announcement at a party! Then her parents move into a tiny apartment, forcing Tsukushi and her brother to get their own place--next door to someone she knows. And, Tsukushi's friend Yuki is becoming increasingly infatuated with Sojiro, one of the F4. Is she willing to compromise herself for what she thinks he wants?!
Volume 28
Tsukushi's friend Yuki is still fixated on Akira, a member of the F4. While struggling to understand him she immerses herself in a mysterious event from his past. Meanwhile, spies continue to track Tsukushi and Tsukasa's every move. The two of them will have to take some outlandish steps to outsmart the snoops and get some "alone time"!

Things are going fairly smoothly between Tsukushi and her on-and-off boyfriend Tsukasa, but the bliss can't last for long. Deep in the heart of New York City Tsukasa's conniving mother is cooking up another evil plan to destroy her son's relationship with our beleaguered heroine. How far will Tsukushi go to be with her hardheaded beau?

While on a trip to New York, Tsukushi is drawn into the drama of the rich Domyoji family's business affairs. This puts Kaede, Tsukushi's sworn enemy, in the tough position of having to show Tsukushi gratitude. Then Tsukushi's trip takes another shocking turn when someone close to her admits his true feelings for her!

Mysterious men have knocked out Tsukushi and her on-and-off boyfriend Tsukasa. The two awake to find themselves alone on a boat, a situation that reeks of the diabolical handiwork of Tsukasa's maniacal mother Kaede. Will the two of them survive this insane twist of fate?

Tsukushi's on-and-off boyfriend Tsukasa is hospitalized after a gruesome head injury! While his life hangs in the balance, his devious mother shows no emotion at all. Could a mother really be so heartless?! Even if Tsukasa is able to survive, he may never be the same again...

While Tsukasa recuperates from his amnesia and head injury, a fellow female patient takes to visiting him. With Tsukasa's memory a blank slate, this new girl and Tsukushi are on equal ground for forming a bond with him. Could she really whisk him away from her?

Tsukushi's friend Yuki has been trying to convince herself that her crush on F4 member Sojiro is over. She has continued studying the formal tea ceremony that he introduced her to. When she invites Sojiro to help teach her tea club at school, a stunning series of events begin to unfold!
Volume 35
Tsukasa makes two shocking announcements! One of them is to the public and one is for Tsukushi's ears only. The couple spend some time together and visit some familiar faces not seen in a while. This second-to-last volume of Boys Over Flowers is guaranteed to please as we head toward the final climactic volume!
Volume 36
The final volume of Boys over Flowers has Tsukushi facing a very uncertain future. Forces seem to conspire against her as she races to make it in time for her high school prom. Characters from her past make cameos as she reflects on her tumultuous time at Eitoku Academy. Will she decide to join Tsukasa in New York or will she stay in Japan and finish school?! |
