Clutter is, in my opinion, an excess of items.

There are times, when people have a lot of items, but I think it leans more towards complex rather than clutter if it works well.


So, my opinion is that clutter, for the most part, is bad (unless otherwise intended). Possibly because my definition differs.

I think it all depends on what the individual is trying to achieve with the overall look of the outfit. For example, right now my avie is sci-fi theme-ish and is often thought of as cluttered due to being a tad top heavy which in turn can not be fixed because it would ruin the overall look of the outfit. >__<

clutter can be awesome . . .when done right.
Good clutter must maintain a good flow and theme/color-scheme.
If its bad clutter, I down rate, but if done well I give it a higher rating! xD
