The sun was beginning to set casting a warm glow to the pride known as the Kusini’Mwezi. Even though her parents would rather her and her siblings rest at this time, the charcoal cub was way to intrigued by the beauty the sun was creating to even think about sleeping. Soon, the little light bugs would be out as well, meaning more time for fun.
Citka never quite understood the concept of sleeping at night, especially when there was so many interesting things to do. You could watch the sunset, and then as stated earlier, the firebugs would be out. There was no other time to play with them anyways.
Dual colored eyes looked around, watching the orange turn to pink. A little gasp left her maw from her position sitting on a boulder as the great ball of fire seeped lower into the ground.

 Kayo had other plans and decided they where more important than going to sleep like a good little cub should. a grin came to his face as he caught sight of his sister Citka, posed on a rock with her back to him. as slient as he could, he made his way over to her trying to keep hidden in the grass though he had brightly tan fur that didnt stop him from trying to ambuse his sister in play.

Citka hadn't noticed the small rustles on the dry grass behind her. Her bi-colored eyes were to focused on the waning sun. "It's beautiful," she said outloud, her tail moving back and forth against the rock she was situated on. "Mom and Dad have us miss this too. It's a shame the rest of them are missing it," Citka smirked. "Oh well, more for me!" She giggled, unbeknownst to her brother.

" MUWAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!" Kayo pounched at his sister from behind as she hadn't noticed him at all to his amusment and even was talking to herself. ofcourse he never would hurt his sister and was just playing around so if she told him to knock it off he would before anything bad would happen. in fact he was rather protective of his sisters as he taken up the role of protective brother but also liked to pull pranks sometimes.

As she was pounced on, so was she knocked off her little 'pedistool'. Her eyes widened as she growled. "Kayo!" she groaned, swiping at his head as she continued to cubbish actions. She craned her neck to grab an ear of her tan brother, gnawing at it. "You should be sleeping!" She whispered after letting the ear go.
Though the same response should sway towards herself as well. Her eyes shifted as a paw grabbed her brother's. "Come on, let's move away from the den!" Her voice was still a whisper, not wanting to chance bringing Kenai or Ayo (their parents) out.

Kayo was being rather noisey as he was laughing but stopped when she got a hold of his ear and was thankful when she let go. " Could say the same to you and alright alright." snickering as softly as he could, he went along with his sister as he wouldn't want any fun they might have ruined because they got caught being awake.

Citka rolled her eyes but continued onwards. Once she thought they were out of ear range, she growled playfully and re-pounced her brother. "Ahaha! Now we can play!" She giggled, lowering her front body before lifting her bum in the air and wiggling it. "I didn't want mum or dad to catch us." The only remnants of the sun was the line of gold quickly disappearing, leaving the skies an almost purple color. "I want to see the lightning bugs before they come looking for us."

kayo went right to the ground as he was pounced by his sister which he had not expected. he gave a laugh at his sister as he gave his own playful growl at her. " would of been lame if they had and you always like seeing those bugs dont you."

"Of course! Those bugs are cool!" Citka giggled. "I mean, come on, their butts light up! Our butts don't light up." At this, her dual colored eyes glanced towards her rear. "But one day I'll find the secret behind it!" She was a confident little cub. "Just wait and see." She smiled, watching as the 'lights' began to emerge around them. They were like little stars, twinkling on the ground.

Kayo snickered at his sister Citka, finding it amusing she was so into finding out this great secret of how those bugs lite their butts. " i think it would be weird if out butts light up like the bugs. i also think the bugs can keep their butts all lite up." swating at one of them, he liked watching the lite up bugs all around them and also swatting at them as he could them watch them zoom about. " come on lets mess with them and have some fun!"

Citka was about to agree, when her ears flickered. Was their parents calling them? "We'll have to come back tomorrow night! We don't want mom and dad finding out about this spot, nor our brothers and sisters," though, Citka /might/ have to tell Koda about it. After all, he was half of her, being a twin and all.
"Come on, let's hurry before they come out looking for us!" She didn't want the ground stars to be spotted by her parents. She'd come back tomorrow to play with them.

"OK!"Kayo laughed as he followed his sister back home. he was happy to have a special hide out with his sister. but of course he also was going to look forward to coming back tomorrow so that they could have some adventure or maybe play a game with one another. for now though it was time to go back and rest til morning.
