Well since we can't sustain our existences without sustenance I would go with giving up sex. It's been done by thousands (maybe millions) of people throughout human existence so it isn't impossible.

That's tough. both are pretty good.
being dead I don't need either.

Realistically, I'd give up sex since food is necessary and sex isn't technically necessary for your own survival, survival for your genetic code is different.
