Apartment Life = no school bus?

I just installed Apartment Life today and I noticed that the school bus doesn't show up.
I don't get the message that it's coming in an hour or anything.

I really don't want to move out of my apartment, and I really don't want my children to be removed by a social worker.

Help?

Do you have Inteen? I had a problem similar to that when I first installed Seasons, and I realized that it was because I forgot to upgrade my version. D:
Try removing your hacks and see if that helps?

The only hack I have is See Them 2 which only requires the base game to work and is supposedly tested for all EP's.
I no longer have InTeen, but it caused a hot mess when I installed Bon Voyage with it in xD

This is a widely known issue with Apartment Life that EA never fixed.

The only option you have is to take note of the time (possibly by buying an alarm clock for your kids/teens and having them set it for school) and telling them to 'Walk to School'.

At least EA were gracious enough to allow us that.

But now I'm having another issue.

I had a family that lived in a house, not an apartment.
There were three children and one teen.
I made sure that they all got on the school bus because they skipped the day before and had D's.
But whenever the teen came back at 1PM, they all showed up randomly in the house and it said they didn't go to school that day and the Social Worker came and picked them up.

Now I'm scared to have kids because I don't want them to get taken away.

Also, the teenager never brought back homework from school, but his grade kept going up.
I guess I should be grateful for that, though.
