Its more of a series, the Sword of Truth series. It's freakishly long and took me 2 weeks to read 12 600-1100 page books.

"Artemis Fowl" (all 7 books) and "Airman"
By Eoin Colfer! biggrin
I say seven Fowl books 'cause there's a short story that's stuck between the first and second books. biggrin

My favorite book is actually a group of books by one author, and that is The Legend of Drizzt series and the Sellswords trilogy, plus any other book by R.A. Salvatore.

Oh, R.A. Salvatore is an amazing author! XD I read the Icewind Dale Trilogy, as well as Homeland, Exile, and Sojourn (I don't remember the trilogy name for these three). ^0^

That was the Dark Elf Trilogy, and all of that is part of the Legend of Drizzt, which goes until the Sea of Swords. That is the last of the Legend of Drizzt. The Hunter's Blades Trilogy starts right after that and then it goes into the Transitions trilogy.

All of those are good, the only one that you might have a problem with is called "Spine of the World." And I won't tell you much more about it cause that would ruin it for you.
