Question regarding energy.

Alright, for once I have a question. blaugh
So, a couple of weeks ago I was at this discourse (?) on healing.

We got to try a couple of things there.
First ones were just the "normal" feeling energy etc.

So, while litterally EVERYBODY else in the room "gave" warm energy, I was "giving" cold..

Ever since it has been begging me..

Is there some "difference" between cold and warm energy?
Like, a "reason" why people are warm, others cold?

I first started thinking about it on the way home, so I never got the chance to ask.. So, now the question is here, since it has really been bugging me.

I know some of you guys know something about stuff like this, so thought I'd give it a shot.

(I'm horrible at explaining myself, but please - if you don't get what I'm trying to say, ask, don't just leave me here. whee )

Physically, "cold" in the sense of physical energy makes no sense at all. Heat is, after all, energy. Cold is simply the absence of heat, not something in its own right, so it's not something you can "give out". If anything, coldness around you would indicate that you were drawing energy in instead.

It's absolutely bizarre and I can only imagine that they were latching onto this word "cold" because they couldn't find another way to describe it. But in order for me to understand it, they'll have to find one, because "cold" is not the right word.
