As some of you may know, my dad was looking for a pistol. Well, today my family and I went to a gun show and not even 1 minute from when we stepped in the doors we saw it. A beautiful XDm in 9mm for $580, needless to say we got her.

Pros: The new XDm has a much more streamlined appearance and the curves of the gun flow, so it is more comfortable to carry. (for those of you who have handled XDs) The pistol fits like a tailor made glove with the new grips, interchangeable back straps, and the tried and true 1911 style grip angle. The XDm9 holds 19+1 rounds which means that you can carry 58 rounds on your person. But then again if you ever have to reload the XDm you've probably F***ed up BAD. But hey, when you're carrying an entire BOX of ammo on your hip your ready to deal with just about anything.

Cons: The new ambidextrous mag release is nice

Unsure: The XDm prevents the user from racking the slide unless the grip saftey is disengaged.

IDK, the best solution is to move out of Commiefornia.
Doesn't Cali only allow 10 round magazines?

I think 10 is the max, but those pump-AKs only have a 5 rnd mag.
But it could be less than 10.
