why, hello there. i am a new member and... well i love to write. poems, lyrics, short stories... and i'm writing a novel, called Half Empty. I'll probably post a bit of that later, though...

With Me

Would you comfort me?
If i would lose control?
Would you cry with me?
Till the end of my sorrows?
Can't you see?
I'm coming undone at the edges.
But it seems you don't care at all,
Don't think of me.
I wish I had a camera
For those lovely summer days
Because those times never last
I wish you would come
And sit with me,
Cry with me
And make things okay...
But you disappoint me more and more.

There's many, many scars

For what I really am
But there's the constant reminder
I'm not good enough
I won't meet your standards.

where were you in my life?
where were you when i cried?
Where were you when i graduated the second grade?

sometimes i would cry
Because you weren't there
Now I'm searching you out
But it's not the same here

You spent my whole life hiding
And when you had to come
Maybe I was just practice
For a new, better one

I had my chance,
I threw it away
'Cause I really don't know you
I was freaked out,
You surprised me
But you couldn't've said anything, anyhow.

You really don't know me
And I don't know you
But, exactly,
Whose fault is that?

Why They Loved

She sat on the ground and cried
He came to her and looked into her eyes
He sat and said Tell me
She heard and said Kiss me

He looked and saw beauty
She looked and saw misery
He waited for her forever
She saw only a blur

She loved him still
His world stood still
For her, and only her
And that's why they loved

I loved you so
I used to say
But they didn't reply
Now, when I say it, I mean it.
And when you say it back,
I almost die.

You will never turn your back like they did
not so long ago.
You tell the truth to me
And i would never lie to you.

I have not seen you
And you not me
But maybe that's the magic
Of our lovely memories

When i and feeling down
You are down there with me
And you astound me so
How could you be crazy?
