The letter was telling me that the next expected ship date or backorder or whatnot was set for 1/28/09.
I got the mags today.
Here's what I got;
2 steel mags from 4/62 & 9/61.
2 aluminum mags from 10/82.
2 aluminum mags from 9/66.
1 mag from 4/63.
1 mag from 11/65 and one from 8/65.
1 from 4/63, 11/67, and 2 from 2/70.
Only the steel mags have a matching pouch, although one is off by a year.
The ones from 82 look like they've never been inserted into a rifle or even loaded, no markings or scrapings on the followers.
