Gerald A. Wiegert has been dryhumping high end performance fans with his wetdream for a U.S. built supercar for 20 years now. He's only managed to produce a tiny handful for the original investors, who are somewhere in the Middle East.
I've sat in the older prototype and it looked and felt like a kit car. Not a good sign for a quarter million dollar performance car.
If you really want a car that will be and do what this thing has wanted to do for decades, find a DeTomaso Pantera. Preferably an early model that is nothing but body and drive train. The drive train parts are pure Ford, so it's a dream to work on!
I want! DIY assembly and endless options for an engine that will make this thing rocket off the line.
I have the perfect Chevy small block in mind for this little jem.

"The Vector is a sophisticated U.S. made HPRV machine that takes supercar performance to the next level. "
Yet it will be completely totaled at a 15 mph collision with a deer.
IMO; Might makes right. Your car may be fast, but I have a ton and a half on you.
I must admit; Interior gauges and instruments that look like a friggin fighter jet would be pretty awesome. But what happens if I spill my cherry coke while I'm going 240 mph down the Autobahn?

Don't want to worry about hitting a deer at 120 miles per hour?
Lamborghini LM002. Sadly out of production and ungodly expensive in the used market. Rumors had it that Hunter Thompson bought one for his home in Colorado. Make mine a Rambo Lambo!
