So as of late, I've been trying to help a friend of mine find out the name to this one anime movie that he saw once and really wants to see again, BUT he's such a dumbo sometimes and he doesn't know anything else about it except very few things he's told me. I've asked other people and they either say "Yeah! I know what you're talking about! But I don't know the name" or "No, no idea." Here's what I've gathered so far:
arrow The movie has a drawing style like "Akira".
arrow Thus, it's assumed it was made sometime in the 1980s.
arrow He saw it when he was about seven, he's gonna turn 20 soon.
arrow It's in a modern time scene.
arrow No guns and no swords.
arrow The character wields a black book.
arrow There's a fight scene that includes red and blue papers on opposing sides.
arrow The paper is used to summon demons or it's used to make demons out of paper.
arrow It's not Read or Die, Death Note, Doomed Megalopolis or Bible Black.
I also asked other people for more details. It's a probability that the demons were AFTER the book. Also, it's probable that one of the scenes is of a little black-haired boy with the book, looking scared with some tall man looking down at him. That's about it. I've been lookin' for three days! Any hints would help a lot!
