Although I pretty much know what kind of "netbook" I want, I'd like to make sure I can do everything I need to on it. Wich means I need enough power and memory to use the programs I use. So could anyone be able to tell me if such would be possible? The technical aspects of the computer are: 1.6 GHz Intel Atom N270 Processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Drive, XP Home. I would be running:
I'm an AOL user, but I know AOL is resource-heavy so I might not load it onto the book. Unless it would still run well. Would it? If not, I'd at least load AIM.
Microsoft Word or at least Wordpad for writing.
RPG Maker XP (not totally necessary, but it'd be nice)
Furcadia (I'm not a furry, I just like to chat on it...)
YouTube/Google/Veoh videos.
I would probably only load a few hours of music on it. And I may not load any at all and just keep it on a flash drive.
Pretty much any games played would be flash games.
Think that would be workable?
