When you're all done eating they always give you fortune cookies. I enjoy opening them and just reading the cute fortunes for fun. Anyone else? ^_^

Honestly, I hate Chinese food.
...but my mom knows that, so when we're in a store, she buys a bag of fortune cookies so we can open them once a day and see our fortune. ^^
Too bad she hasn't bought any for a year or two, now. neutral

I LOVE Chinese food. I could eat it every day if I could afford it. xd
Fortune cookies are always the funnest part. heart My friends and I will read them out loud to each other and put "in bed" at the end of every one. xd

Fortune cookies are so much fun!
Random tidbit of trivia:
They aren't originally from China and according to wikipedia are little known in mainland China and Taiwan. They were invented in America to amuse guests in Chinese restaurants while waiting for their food.
I also do the "...in bed" game. Some of them are hilarious.
My step-father once got one:
"The treasures of the rainbow will soon be yours.
...in bed"
That was a fun one.

Chinese food is yummy......I love it anyway.....
I keep all my fortunes.....some are a bit suggestive-especially if you add the "in bed" part.
One I got went along these lines...
"You will be attracted to an older more experienced man...."
"......in bed."
One I got the other day....
"You will be successful in whatever you do....."
"......in bed."

Some fortune cookie company should make one fortune that ends with "in bed" just to mess with people.

Chinese food are really nice 3nodding ---->saying that cause shes a Chinese
But hey! They are nice!
I've never heard of getting fortune cookie in chinese restaurants etc before... It sounds fun though(:

LOL I never heard of adding the 'in bed' part to the cookies fortunes. XD And I never knew it was just an american thing that was made to entertain. I'm shocked J and DT doesn't get any though. o_o! Guess it's b/c they feel we need to be entertained unlike other countries in order to keep us there? XD Geez we're sad... (funny way.) That reminds me though...anyone ever tried "Fruit Jelly". I think it's only a chinese snack or maybe it is also other nationalities? Well this is what they look like: Bottle of Fruit Jelly'sSingle Fruit JellyClose up fruit jelly@Death That reminded me the one time we also bought a bag of fortune cookies at the store. I never realized they sold them!

I'm 1/4 Chinese but I'm more inclined to american food.. steak, broccoli, pizza, burger and frosties, donuts and coffee.. stuff like that.. but I still must say that Chinese food are really good~

Love FOOD haha. and the cookies are great fun.
Interesting about the trivia...
I watched an interesting show that said that they were created to brighten the days of people who worked on rail roads or mines or something bleak and dismal like that. So when they opened it they had little sayings in them to make them smile...
