Game 1: Aisee!
Description: Like Marco Polo.
Terms:
Aisee! (“I say!”) = Marco
Ati! (“Hey!”) = Polo
Pekua ("Spy")= Yelled by aisee when he opens his eyes.
Players: 3 – 10
How to Play:
---► First choose an area to play in. Mark the boarders in a circle. If any of the ati cross the boarder before the aisee yells “Pekua!” they’re out of the game. An area is marked as home base. Home base is always somewhere outside the boarder, usually by more than five feet, so that the players can’t stand on top of it during the game.
---► One player is picked to be aisee (Marco). Aisee closes his eyes while the other players spin him around.
---► All of the ati spread out in the play area. The aisee calls out, “Aisee!” The other players reply, “Ati!” Using his hearing, aisee tries to find and tag another player. Whoever he tags first becomes the next aisee. The ati are allowed to move around to avoid him but they always have to reply when he calls, even if he's right in front of them.
---► If aisee can’t find anyone he’s allowed to open his eyes. When he does, he yells, “Pekua!” When this happens all the players make a mad dash to home base. This is the only time the players can leave the circle and the only time asiee can open his eyes. If aisee can’t catch anybody before they get to home base he has to be it again. If asiee opens his eyes and hasn't called pekua, the ati can call him out of the game.
