[[Aapep, Mawi, their children and Kirjava. :3 Not a birthing RP but more of Mawi taking them home to meet their father. They all have their names :3 It would be a presenting ceremony but with everyone so busy lately this is a little easier, the cubs can walk and talk a bit. :3 Giving everyone a chance to try them out.]]
Mawi Mai woke up with a yawn. This was the morning she had been looking for, after the unexpected but very welcome cubs of her and Aapep being born she was ready to take them to the main part of the pride where they could start their life... They had all already been named, herself and Aapep meeting up to talk about it, but she wanted to make sure they were safe before they made their way to the dens, to the rest of the pride. She had a chance to rest, and the cubs were ready to walk. She was ready for this, now she was just waiting for them to wake up.
She carefully stood up, stifling a yawn then making her way out of the small den that she had been using. Kirjava was a goddess for helping her all of this time. With her mother busy and not around that much she was glad to have some one. Even her sister wasn't around that much. It made her sad but she was glad that she had her mother in law... She stepped over the last small sleeping body and sat out in front of the den, watching some dust fly out from under her as she sat down.
"Ah." She smiled and closed her eyes at the feeling of the fresh air flying around her. She was nervous about taking them home, hoping that Aapep was going to be proud of them, wondering now what they would grow up to be. She wasn't nervous about having cubs when she first found out she was pregnant but now it was setting in. She took in a deep breath before relaxing and looking down at her paws. However she was looking forward to getting all of her shakers and drum back, she was ready for some music, other than singing to her cubs of course.

The absence of their mother's rythmic beating of her heart woke the lone female cub of the litter. As she stretched, her blue eyes looked around, picking out her brothers easily and quickly enough. While their own breathing patterns were soothing, it was their mother she wanted. Carefully climbing over the three sleeping boys, the gray cub made her way outside, sitting next to Mawi with a yawn. "Watcha doin', Momma...?"

Mawi Mai was a little surprised when she could hear the small pitter-patter of small paws coming up behind her. She had heard those sounds before from others like her younger siblings but not as much, they normally didn't go to her much. It was going to take some getting used to but she could feel that the adjustment was going to be easy. She looked down at the little cub with a smile and pulled her closer. She hoped to have a bond with this little girl like she did with her mother and her sister, it would be another of the few females that she would get along with well.
She pulled the cub closer to herself with her paw, placing her in between her paws. "Hello sweetie." She looked up for a moment before chuckling softly, leaning down and licking her forehead softly, before looking back up. "Well I'm waiting for all of you little ones and you're grandma to get up so we can go home." She grinned down at the cub. She was looking forward to spending time with Aapep again, she was missing see him as much.

Aapep was awake. He hadn't been able to sleep at all. Nor eat, nor relax, nor do anything. At this moment in time he was lying in the den, listening to the sounds outside, listening for approaching footsteps or the calls of cubs. His heart was beating slowly now, but whenever there was a sound outside, it would begin to race.
But every time, it would prove a false alarm and he would have to force the unease away with pacing in the small space of his new home.
He was going to be a dad. A dad? The thought had him filled with joy and he remembered the moment that Mawi Mai had told him. He hadn't thought he could have loved her any more than he did, but at those words, his love for her had grown to new and greater heights.
They were going to be a family. A proper family in a pride. The thought of it was too good, sometimes he thought it was all a dream. But he wasn't, and the realisation of that brought a deep love to his heart.

Never in her life time had Kirjava thought she'd get to experience the birth of her grandcubs. Ravi's family was so far away and besides, his litter was well past cubhood. But Aapep had provided that opportunity to her through Mawi. As soon as she knew her daughter-in-law was aware of her situation, she couldn't help but glow with pride. There was nothing more spectacular than watching life come into this world.
Her ears flicked as sounds started to reach her. As much as she didn't want to admit it, she could feel that her time here was coming close to an end. It wasn't even two moons ago that she had a dream about Kiburi...oh how she missed her sister so. But enough of that, when the time came for her to make that journey, she would make it happy with her legacy here on earth.
She peeked her head up to see who was all up. It appeared that the cubs were all waking from their slumber and Mawi was antsy. Not that she blamed the lioness, she couldn't imagine what it must be like to want to show off the cubs to a father. With a gentle smile, she nudged the cub closer to her, "Time to get up, Kartik." To Mawi, "They are all so beautiful, a nice mix of the two of you. I bet Aapep is waiting to see them, I can only imagine how excited he must be."
----
At the nudge, Kartik stretched and mewed softly. He didn't want to get up, he was quiet content with where he was. But, the sounds of his family were starting to get louder and soon he wouldn't be able to sleep even if he wanted to. His eyes opened slowly as he took in the bright light with a couple of blinks. The first thing that he was the large form of his grandma. He gave her a lopsided smile before he turned to look at his mom, waiting to see what he needed to do.

Vieras had been completely content to stay asleep, sprawled out over his twin's lower body, but when his grandmother nudged Kartik he fell with a soft oumph.
Shaking his head he lifted himself to his paws and looked around, flashing a smile to his grandma with a flick of his tail. With a bit of a stumble he moved over to her and nuzzled her, then skittered over to Mawi to rub against her. "Home?" He murred, his voice still heavy with sleep. "Is Daddy at home?"
He had to admit that the thought of being seeing his father excited him. He didn't know much about fathers, of course, except for what he heard from his mother and grandma. But there was a pull, making his paws itch to find that figure and add him into his life. Hopefully, he'd like to play, and maybe he could teach him to fight!
With a mewl he showed his eagerness, staring up with wide eyes at Mawi.

Mawi Mai purred softly as she looked down at her daughter, she looked so much like her mother. She looked forward then smiled as she heard some activity in the den. She licked her daughters forehead again then stood up turning around so she could see everyone in the den a smile growing on her face. She was full of energy once more, not so tired and slow very much awake and ready to go.
"Morning little ones. Morning Kirjava." She purred nodding at her mother in law, smiling at the cubs curled up next to her. She was so glad to have Kirjava around, she wasn't sure what she would do with out that lioness. A very slight blush grew on her cheeks before she chuckled some. "Thank you Kirjava. They are, I hope Aapep will be proud." Thinking the last part out loud. "They even look a little like you." Her smile grew more as she looked up at Kirjava before her attention moved to the little cub now skittering toward her.
"Good morning!" She chuckled slightly as she leaned down and nuzzled him. "Yes, home. And yes daddy is at home." She grinned more before nuzzling him nipping at his ear softly. "Are you ready to lead these little ones home Kir?" She asked as she looked up again at the older female. She knew, compared to her siblings, that four wasn't that many cubs at all. But she knew they could still be a handful.

Home... It made the cub smile, a wide and happy smile. "What's Daddy like, Momma? And what's home like? Does everybody sound as pretty as you and Grandma?" Looking back, she watched her brothers get up. Well, so much for time alone with Momma. But there'd be plenty of that in the future. Turning, Amara crouched, eyes narrowing as her smile changed from simple and happy to mischievous. As soon as Vieras was close, she pounced on him, tugging an ear. Though the only girl, she wasn't about to be completely prissy, she wanted the boys to know she was no push-over and could do anything they could!

(I hope it's alright for me to post right now? Group rps are kind of confusing, feel free to prod me if not! XD <3)
As all the cubs were getting up and about, Kirjava couldn't help but take them all in. All the little bundles of joy...her grandcubs. She could feel so many emotions start to swell inside of her before she nodded to Mawi, "Of course, lets get them all going then! I'm sure Aapep will be very happy to see them all."
Her gaze shifted back towards the little bodies. She counted them once and then twice, just to make sure everyone was still there. Four cubs, good. With a smile directed towards all the cubs, "Come on, follow your Mother and I so that you can go and meet your father. Don't stray too far from us." She made sure all the cubs were in her sight before she would go forward with Mawi.
----
He watched all his siblings quietly, not sure what he should do at the present. Kartik waited until he heard his mother's voice talk about their dad and home. Dad? His head tilted slightly as he wondered on who his father was. Before he could think anymore on the subject his grandma ushered them all to follow them.
Not wanting to be left behind, he stayed close to his grandma's side. The world was so big and huge, and he didn't want to lose any of his family!

(Its fine <3)
Mawi Mai chuckled softly and nudged her daughter with a smile. "Home is very beautiful for one." She smiled softly, licking the brige of the little cub's nose before smiling. "You father is wonderful. He will be proud of you all." She loved the idea of that, She was more that sure he was going to be proud yet at the same time she felt as if she had to be nervous. Ehs smiled at Kir then at the cubs. "Yes little ones, lets go. The sooner we go the sooner all of your questions are going to be answered.
The female lifted her head, also doing a count a few times before she relaxed, she was glad that she didn't have a large litter, oh counting them would be hell. She turned forward again, taking the lead, making her way toward the home she knew for so long.
Ravu'Rytmi was moving a little slower then his siblings. Just now was he waking up. The first things catching his ears was the words 'home' and 'daddy'. Those two he had heard a few times. He stood up and then looked around a little drowsily. "Whaa?" He mumbled as he stood up stretching himself out before wandering toward his grandmother looking up at her before trotting toward her mother and nuzzling her. "Home?" He asked as he looked between the two. Then his excitement kicked it. today was the day they were going! He wormed around happily before tuning toward the others getting ready to follow, trotting along side his grandma.

Now that he was awake, he couldn't stop moving. Vieras rolled over with a happy, playful growl when his sister pounced him. He nipped at her paws and grabbed her in a tight grip with his arms. His sister could be the most fun sometimes, and he loved the challenges she brought him.
But soon he would be left behind, so he wiggled out from under her with a grunt and raced off towards his grandmother. Unlike his siblings he was a red, winding ball of energy. Tugging on Kartik's ear he trotted forward. "Let's go Kartik! I'll race you!" Not that he had any idea where he was going. He just wanted to move!

As she made sure all the cubs were following, Kirjava gazed forward and searched for her son. Now where was he? she wondered quietly before feeling her maternal instinct tug at her with all of these cubs around. They were just so full of boundless energy.
She called out and hoped that Aapep was close by, "Aapep!"
----
The tug to his ear made him mew softly in surprise. Kartik had not been expecting it at all! It was his twin, his brother who looked like him but not like him at the same time. His eyes widen slightly at his brother's words. Race? No, he didn't want to. He shook his head at his brother quietly, not really uttering any words at the moment since he didn't know what to say.
((Just trying to help move the rp forward so Aapep can rp with his cubbies. <3))

His mother?
Excitement tugged at his heart strings and had him on paws within seconds. A couple of steps later and he was pushing up into the open, away from the earthy den he'd been waiting in.
Where were they?
And then he saw them. Mawi, his mother and...little ones. He felt his heart swell with love and joy and for a moment he was rooted to the spot, hardly believing what he was seeing. Little cubs, cubs that shared their colours.
"M-mawi." His voice was hoarse and dry, and after a moment he started towards them, feeling shaky and giddy.

She could hear over her youngings her mother-in-law calll out. She couldn't help but to join in with her own soft chuff, looking back to make sure that all of the little sets of paws were still there before she looked forward again. She flicked her tail behind her before a figure caught her eye, the one that she knew all too good. Aapep was in front of her.
"Aapep!" She called back looking back at Kirjava with a grin. She trotted up to him with a smile nuzzling him happily before looking him in the eye. "I missed you so much." She murmured quietly before she turned toward Kirjava and the cubs."Four little ones just like I told you." She grinned a the idea before wandering back over to the cubs. "Go say hello to your daddy."

"I missed you too. Love, I missed you so much." He touched his nose to her, drawing in the warmth of her scent. Then his eyes flicked back to the cubs. Their children. Four cubs, healthy and beautiful. Bright and bold in the sunshine.
He loved them now. Loved them desperately. His heart swelled and tears glazed his eyes; made them shine.
"Hello, little ones." He spoke gently, suddenly feeling shy. "It's nice to meet you all at last." He glanced up at his mother and smiled at her. Somehow he didn't think his smile was going to go away for a long time.
