The soquili of this herd worship the goddess Sun -
Soquili SunA goddess. When Sun's daughter was bitten by a snake and taken to the Ghost Country, Sun hid herself in grief. The world was ever dark, and Sun's tears became a flood. At last the Cherokee sent their young men and women to heal Sun's grief, which they did with singing and dancing. -symbol: sun
They believe in this goddess because the story behind her is full of support for each other and it explains by helping others you don't need to use physical attributes forwarded around 'fighting' and 'war' but can be helped by peaceful approaches and some kind words and a little bit of joy.
Background story of how the herd came to be -
![User Image](https://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a354/soquilipets/Sirenz/Graphics/soquilimapsmall2.jpg)
When Taharial was pregnant, the happy couple went to find a home to raise their children away from outside influences, so that they grew up with 'pure' views on life and the world around them until they were old enough to find their own way and find paths right for them. Eventually they found a huge mountain that was in a volcano like shape, so they traveled far up hill right to the top, as they approached the peak to their surprise the mountain dipped inwards.
It revealed lush valley with lots of tree's and plant life, water ran through it and everything they needed were in this paradise like environment. After looking around they decided it would be a perfect place to raise their expecting family and decided because of the peaxe they were going to name this 'valley' Eden.
After a while of living here they decided it would be more afer and secure to start up a herd and let others in. They are however very careful about the people they do let into the herd, although most are very welcome. Jo and Tah are very nice, welcoming soquili.
The herd is very religious based.
