| Mario 64: Good game or Best game? |

Mario 64 is without-a-doubt the BEST game EVER made xd (yes better then pokemon snap). As you and I know, because it is such an awsome game it is left open for many rumors, such as: "Play as Luigi? 64 version? YEAH! TOADALLY! Every one knows you can play as luigi in that game!"
Anyway, can anyone tell me if the "more than 120 stars" rumor is true? I have heard from many unreliable sources that they have come to own more than 120. If their are more than 120, I would probably have to kill myself because I always thought I knew it all when it came to mario 64. I even know a REALLY cool glitch that I'm 99.9% sure nobody else knows about. No it's not the "run up the castle glitch" and no it's not the "black room glitch." ... .......... ..... ... Man.... Pokemon snap is horrable....... sweatdrop

For that to happen, it would have to transcend all past, present, and future genres of gaming.

Welcome to the Cult. There are only 120 stars in SM64, but in the DS remake there are 150.

Super Mario 64 has camera issues and Ocarina of Time can be too sluggish.
That said, I LOVE both games.

Besides, given that there is no best, you can't argue that Ocarina isn't one of the best. My personal list of the best includes Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, Mario Galaxy, Brawl, Resident Evil 4, and Metroid Prime 1 and 3. I was never really that into Mario 64. I didn't get an N64 until Pokemon Stadium, and I didn't really get hard into games until sometime after Oracle of Ages introduced me to Zelda. By the time I got a used copy of Mario 64 (more by chance than on purpose), I'd finished Sunshine long ago and the Wii launch was in sight. Between the N64, DS, and Virtual Console versions, I only ever managed to get 120 stars on the N64. I got bored with it on the VC and repeated failures to get 100 coins in Hazy Maze Cave turned me away from the DS version. The whole character system destroyed that version of the game for me.

Galaxy > 64
Some say Galaxy is too easy compared to 64. I have 3 words for them: Luigi purple coins.
