My Parents Are Catholics, I need Advice.

My parents are both hard-core Catholics, and my father especially is forcing me to confirm into the Catholic Church. I have tried negotiating, but to no avail.
I know in my heart that my beliefs lie in Paganism, and I have made them aware of this fact, but their decision still remains.
What is left for me to do?
And after I confirm, when I turn fully to Paganism, can I even be trully considered a Pagan??

Might you be able to talk to an unbiased priest about the matter and have him try talking to your parents about it?

That would seem to be the best answer. Most priests will not let a person who they have prior learned of being pagan be confirmed unless they 'repent their sins.'

I was hoping more so that the priest would have the intelligence and compassion to not allow a forced Confirmation.

Maybe I'm just being a bit fluffy about it, but I've always thought that no matter what god you're drawn to, you should approach them with joy and love; you should be happy to follow them, ya know?

I've always thought that too. Religion should never be a chore.
