I have seen this film. I thought it had an interesting concept and was executed quite well. I don't think I'd mind seeing that movie again.

Great old movie. And based on a play. In fact, the cast was made up of those who had starred in the play.

SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING

A lot of people are shocked by the ending, but here's a lil bit of trivia for ya: In the original story the little girl lives in the end. The only reason why she was killed off in the movie was because, at the time, studios had an unwritten law stating that a villain must get their comeuppance by the end of the picture. So the film makers were told that they had to kill her off.

I love that movie. My dad use to call me the Bad Seed. It's one of my favorite evil child horror movies. In the end didn't she get struck by lightening?

I heard they had announcements asking that moviegoers not tell the ending of the film to anyone.

I've seen it. I think it was in a psychology class. I actually liked the ending. The brat got what she deserved, and nobody really seemed to care. They just wrote it off like, "Oh, well bad little girls deserve to get smited".
