I wonder if that would help with a 12 gauge at all.
Hmm... I wonder how much felt recoil would be reduced with a thing like that on an 8 gauge.

Hmm, as for Rifles the 7mm might need one or the .300 Win mag...
But definitely not that damn huge!

WTF at both links

does a .22 really need anything on the end at all?
PostPosted: Sat Apr 25, 2009 7:54 pm
No... No it does not. I'm wondering if that would even reduce the almost nonexistant .22 recoil.

I doubt there's enough gas to even make it work.

I've heard that .22 short is silent enough so the neighbors can't hear.

This is probably unlikely, but id be too afraid for a pellet to ricochet out the side of a muzzle brake that large.

You'd have to have a big failure for something like that.

Sorry for digging up such an old topic, but I have to say one thing about this.

I did little bit of thinking about the flash supressor on the .22. When coon hunting, a quick follow up shot can be really helpful. You have to remember that this is taking place at night and blinding yourself for several seconds is common, so this could actually be a pretty good idea here.
