Final Fantasy VIII

Who remembers this awesome game? This is my favorite out of all the final fantasies. i dont have it anymore but i wish o had it again

I remembered that game. I once had it, too. It was one of my favorite Final Fantasy games. I liked the music.

the futuristic city was my favorite place. odin was my favorite GF and Laguna was pretty tight

Cool! I liked Odin, too. Especially that epic game over scene he makes when you fail to defeat him in time. My other favorites are Cerberus, Ifrit, Bahamut, Gilgamesh, Shiva, and the ultimate GF: Eden (including Griever)! xd I also loved the music in the game, especially the opening movie and its opening theme "Liberi Fatali". I also loved the environments, storyline (including its plot twists), characters, and the Limit Breaks.

i've got liberi fatali on my iPod xd , but yeah Cerberus is awesome. i cried when Squall "died" I screamed at the cold hearted witch!

LOL! Sweet! I got it on my iPod, too! Anyways, yeah, I thought for sure that Squall died, but he was still alive in the start of Disc 2 when I first played the game. When I saw what happened, I sat still for a minute with my mouth wide open and then fell backwards and fainted for only ten minutes with the controller still in my hands as if I was still playing. sweatdrop sweatdrop

i rofl 'd when Squall met Laguna. I was like, "WTF?!? xd "

I loved the part where Laguna almost fell off a cliff and and said "Oh, sh--!" LOL! xd

Final Fantasy VIII has some pretty interesting moments (i.e. epic, funny, weird, scary, failure...). It's actually why I love this game; also it's one of the only few games in the series whose storyline can be almost fully understandable to me.

same here. dont get me wrong, i love FFVII (I have it), but FFVIII bumped it out of my favorite FF game spot.

Where I am it costs like $10 on ebay.

Unlike FF VII which i payed $50 for ........ But then again I did enjoy that more than most games I buy nowadays... due to the ... abundance, shall we say, of FPSs.

I am looking forward to actually getting it though (eventually)
