(Hello. These are some of the poems that I have written, the others lost to the clutter of my house.)

The Grave Robber Toll:

Without any doubt,
They're coming for your soul,
They'll make you scream and shout,
So watch all about,
Least you be the one against the concrete below,
Because you're clean,
They're quick,
You're pure,
It'll change your life,
Rest assured,
It's the twenty first century cure,
But, oh, what do I know?
For, oh, what is my job?
But to steal,
And to rob,
The dead.

A Memory Of Wonderland:

A tower of roses above a castle of cards
A queen and a king seated amidst the orchids, their jester sleeping in the garden
A faceless newly wed roaming fields and hills
Four pairs of wings flittering around the kingdom
And a girl who looks in a mirror to see curious wonders
A cabin in the country sitting alongside oaks
And under those oaks sets an old wooden table and chair
An old man in the chair, a rabbit in the grass, and a cat in the tree
The clock ticks and the door knob sleeps, untouched
The trumpets sound and she is late
So very, very late
But she must not wither
For only she witnesses this odd worlds fate
In a book in a house beyond the front gate

When Darkness Consumed The World:

I sat here dreaming of a darkness so complete,
I didn’t take it serious until this darkness was almost complete,
It seemed so easy to close eyes, to just sit there and hope to die,
But I didn’t and I think I know why,
That was the night when I ruled the world.
When darkness consumed the world.

I stood there thinking of a night that was so complete,
I didn’t think of thinking of it until this night was almost complete,
Nothing from then was there,
Nothing existed and I think I know why,
That was from when I ruled the world.
When darkness consumed the world.

I thought I was delirious, until this darkness was complete,
I was a bit curious, as to why this darkness looked like me,
My keep was coming closer,
My shadow coming closer,
This is the night when I rule the world.
When darkness consumes the world.

This darkness was so mysterious, I thought I was in a dream,
I didn’t think it dangerous until this darkness turned into me,
It seems so easy to close my eyes, to just sit here and die,
I don’t want to and I know why,
In this universe I rule the world.
Where darkness consumes the world.

The Kingdom:

In olden days we served a lord
Whether a crooked soul or a shining sword
But most people don’t care about that now do they?
They can only hear in a place where the story fits
So it sounds like this from the mountain cliffs
A place in time with many rifts
A cold and lonely soul of a peaceful breeze of the wind.

With the sound of a stream and the rustle of leaves
A silence not easy to appease
The sounds of a winged army
Golden leaves laid in disarray
Silver pillars of wood fallen but not in the way
And the blue sea above the land we walk
With white islands which few will talk
A round and bright boat on which only the birds may walk
And an arch of vibrant colors to match
To a key hole in an unopened latch
Inside a chest of unbroken peacefulness and beauty.

It’s all right to share this open gate
But better to have a solo debate
For alone this silence is pure
To enjoy the brush of the emerald grass
To walk down the secrets of an abandoned path
The wind as pure as such against a rosy bush
So light in you a lonely torch
And ignite all others that have kindled down

I didn't like the beginning of the first poem very much, but I really enjoyed it by the end. The others were exquisite, as well, even though there are parts where the rhythm breaks (for me, rhythm is a very important part of poetry).

Stealing most lines from Repo! The Genetic Opera?

Poem:

Without any doubt,
They're coming for your soul,
They'll make you scream and shout,
So watch all about,
Least you be the one against the concrete below,
Because you're clean,
They're quick,
You're pure,
It'll change your life,
Rest assured,
It's the twenty first century cure,
But, oh, what do I know?
For, oh, what is my job?
But to steal,
And to rob,
The dead.

Song:
Industrialization has crippled the globe.
Nature failed as technology spread.
And in it's wake, a market erected.
An entire city built on top of the dead!
And you can finance your bones and your kidneys.
For every market a submarket grows.
But best you be punctual with making your payments
Lest it be you on the concrete below~

It's quick, it's clean, and it's pure.
It could change your life, rest assured.
It's the 21st Century Cure!
And it's my job, to steal and rob...
Gra~ves!

So why care for these petty obsessions?
Your designer heart still beats with common blood!
And if you could have genetic perfection,
Would you change who you are, if you could?
'Cause it's quick, it's clean, and it's pure! (All you really need is)
It could change your life, rest assured. (All you got to have is)
It's the 21st Century Cure! (All you need is surgery! )
And it's my job, to steal and rob...
Gra~ves!
Gra~ves!
