I think they gain amusement by trying to give me a panic attack. I don't know how many times I looked into their fish bowls and...
1. I don't see them and start freaking out that one of them just out. 2. They stay very still in strange positions, and I think they're dead (until I shift the bowl and they start swimming....waiting for food).
One of these times they will be dead and I'll end up completely ignoring them thinking its another prank.... cry
Anyone else have/had a pet(s) that did things like that?

My younger sister's parakeet will sometimes stand silently on the bottom of the cage.

dragontamer363 Tee hee goldfish DO have a sense of humor. I want seamonkies... I had seamonkies once. The kit I bought came with this special growth formula that they could eat. I think it worked too well......they were all dead shortly afterward. eek

lol! that use to happen to me with my Betta Fish sometimes he use to be on the very top of the bowl plus I had to put a lit on the bowl cause he was suicidal he loved jumping out of the blow, I fix that by having a bigger bowl under the one he was cause he use to try to jump and knock the lit off plus I try putting him on the bigger one but it didnt work so I had make many crazy things to keep him from killing himself XD he last me 3 year like that ^_^

Well-Mercury wasn't playing tricks this time....he's dead, gosh darn it. He even buried himself in the rocks. O_o' Of course I wasn't too surprised by his passing-his color had been off for some time and nothing I did seemed to help. I'm not that sad either....fish are one of those pets that I never really get attached too unlike pets that you can actually handle such cats, birds, dogs, etc.....
Odin is all that's left now.
Gosh, I wonder how many betta fish I've had now....
Morpheus (deceased after 2 years) Precious (deceased-after 1 year) Sekhmet (deceased-about 1 year) Ares (deceased-jumper/7 months) Mercury (deceased-after 1 year)
Odin (still living-about 2 years)
I feel like I'm missing one.... >.<

My fish aren't necessarily cruel because I've learned with beta that fish will sleep at odd angles and look dead and will hide in reads and in rocks with hidy holes, their just finding nooks and cranys to rest in
my fish (especially my guppy) keeps having an average of 10+ babies and I'm running out of fish tanks!
