I bought myself a laptop last year. It was an Asus laptop (for gaming and such). I looked at the requirements for the sims 3 and my laptop is Geforce 9700 GT. I looked on the site. The support 9600 and 9800, but not 9700?
Does this mean my laptop can't handle it, or it will be ok just not great?

Check out the Can You Run It? website.
http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/referrer/srtest
It scans your computer and then tells you if it should be able to run the game. If it doesn't meet the requirements then it suggests how to improve your machine, if possible.

Can You Run It? = not always reliable.

It said that I would be able to run The Sims 3 on full settings perfectly.

I played for five minutes with the majority of them set on "Low" and it was horrible and laggy.

Well I started playing it without checking. Chrome didn't like the site. Runs perfectly fine on my computer on high, but I like it lower, don't want to stress my computer or something.
