The young lioness peaked her head out from the den that her family stayed in. There was a bright side to having many siblings. When her aunt was baby sitting there was a good chance to sneak away with out anyone noticing. Well... Except Zii noticed when she snuck away. The only thing was that Zii knew she couldn't follow after her when Azar wanted to sneak away, one cub getting away was different then when two cubs wandered away. She started to drop out of the den looking back and seeing her sister looking at her. She smiled apologetically. Her and Zii were like the only two that really liked to sneak out. Or as far as she noticed, they were at least the first two to always sneak out. She'd stay home next time but today she wanted to get out for a while.
She dug her paws into the sand, before she started to trot a little faster. There were so many new lion around here, a lot of them from the old pride, or what to her was the other pride. But there was one who interested her. Being the Regent's daughter and on top of that being the daddy's girl that she was. She spent some of her nights half asleep between her father's paws as him and her mother whispered about the going ons. She normally over heard all of their conversations and some things that were going on. And there was one name that stuck to her. Kinja, what she heard was her father's grandmother. What would be her grandmother. She wanted to know who this lioness was. So she was on a hunt for this lioness.
She wasn't paying attention as she walked, something she really should have learned to do. But before she knew it she ran head first into something. A larger figure, red. It was a firekin she knew that. It was a lioness she could smell it. She fell back on her haunches with a oof and dus flying out from under her. She saw den out of the corner of her eye then she looked up at the lioness. "I'm sorry!" She squeaked.
