- MUSTA, A word signifying of a greeting. Such as Hello or Hi.

How Are you? - Kah-mus-tah-kaa - Kamusta?
- Kamusta is the derived word from Musta but saying it as a phrase where which someone asks you how are you.

Bye - Pah-al-amm - Paalam.
-Paalam, Bye.. what else to it. ^^

I am ______ - Ak-koh-si_____ - Ako Si _____
- Ako si , saying or introducing yourself to someone.


Him/Her - SHI-YA - Siya.
-Siya, is the second person talked to or about, Filipinoes does not believe in gender roles, they rather keep it uncategorized from Female to Male (which is why their President in the Philippines is a male.)

Filipinoes are anti sexists. but there are some words that is similar to english words.

Like:

Tita - Aunt
Tito - Uncle
Lola - Grandmother
Lolo - Grandfather
Mama/ Ina - Mother
Papa/Ama - Father
Kuya - Brother
- Also signifies older brother like Kuya Ryoukisato.
Ate - Sister
- Also Signifies older sister like Ate Serena.
Anak - Child
- Sometimes the Filipino's call their children by that other from their name, even uncles call their nephews 'Anak' even if they arent their real parents.

Teacher - Guro
To atleast sereparate the female teachers from the male teachers, they call them,
Male teachers are called Ginoong - Sounds like chinese food but thats how they call them. Didnt find out how.
- Binibining/ Ginang ______ - Mrs/Ms. (Insert teachers name here)


Yes - Oo
No - Hindi
Not allowed - Hindi Pwede
baKA - is Maybe, It has an emphasis on the last syllable of 'KA' so filipinoes wont get confused.
BAka - is for Cows.(In japanese it means stupid too. XD)

Yes, I understand - Oo, Naiintindihan ko.

Po - Signifies respect to elders or older people.
Opo, is a polite way of saying Yes to elders or older people.
Please - pakiysuyo, or Pwede ba.

Please say that once more - Paki sabi naman po ulit.
Please speak more slowly - Pwede bang dahan-dahanin mo ang iyong pagsasalita.
How do you do? - kamusta ka naman?
Is that so - Ay Ganun ba.

Weather - Panahon

Rain - Umbon (Light Rain)
Stormy - Ulan (Heavy Rain)
Cloudy - Ma-ulap
Hot - Mainit
Cold - Malamig

* In philippines there is no four seasons, only rain, sunshine and cold and hot weathers. they have the tropical seasons. Which only has two cold or hot weathers.
