Sims 3 Wont Play

I just purchased Sims 3 from target and I have installed it but when I try to play it, it says there is no disk but there really is one!

I have restarted my computer, took the cd out and put it back in, and now I have uninstalled it and is currently reinstalling it.

Can anyone help to get this thing to play?

At the moment I would say checking out the official Sims 3 forums would be your best bet to see if anyone else is having a similar problem and if they solved it or not.

Are you putting it in the CD drive? Because the Sims 3 is a DVD 3nodding (That's why there aren't 4 disks again >.< )

My dvd thing is also my cd drive.

Try patching the game with the new patch available at the site.

well do you have more then one CD drive, if so try the other one

I suggest you try all of the things people suggested above. If not, maybe there is something wrong with the cd? Maybe you should try to get another copy and see if that works.
