I recently got sims 3, and I'll be honest, it wasn't quite what I was expecting. Its great in its own right, but there are a lot of things about sims 2 I still prefer.

So I'm just curious, who here still plays both Sims 2 and 3? Anyone play all three?

I still play both 2 and 3. not 1 though.

lol well, I actually play sims 2 MORE than sims 3....>>
but thats only becuase I'm having problems with Sims 3 at the moment.

buuut, even still, I"ll play both. I mean I've got like 10 generations going on in sims 2. I can't just ditch them!! xp

I would be playing both... but all of my sim files are messed up -_-. So 3 it is!

I haven't played sims 3 yet, but I know what you mean. I have sims 2 on my computer and sims 1 on my family's slow computer, so I sometimes still play it because I like makin' magic. It bothers me how fast their needs go down in sims 1. You can't get anything done.

Sims 3 has a lot of nice new features, but until expansions are released and custom content (besides houses and patterns) are made, I'm sticking with Sims 2. I've made a LOT of progress on that game.

I haven't gotten Sims 3 yet... My laptop is likely too slow for it.

Plus, I just downloaded a ton of custom content for Sims 2, so I'm checking it out right now.

I have to confess I'm not really fond of the graphics <_< So I'll probably only buy Sims 3 after a few EP's are released and CC abounds the internet. Until then, Sims 2 it is!

I need to update my graphics card on my computer for Sims 2 to work at full capacity, even, so, I'm pretty sure Sims 3 is a no-go. ._.

I may try it one day, but only after it's cheaper, because, computer games are hard to return because they're all "YOUOPENEDITANDINSTALLEDITKEEPITNAO"

My comp is waay too old for Sims 3. But I don't feel like I'm missing out on anything, as I wasn't really looking forward to it anyways.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one playing both. I like Sims 3, and I've gotten used to the graphics (I actually like them now), but I couldn't leave my old sims behind.

Plus, Sims 3 is more like a game right now. I'm not too into having sims popping out babies, getting to the top of a career and skilling like mad. So sometimes I actually get bored of playing and turn it off.

I played Sims 1 as recently as last year. gonk I got a new laptop and the sims 2 worked on that, though, so I made the switch. razz

My computer used to be really awesome when I first got it.
I installed all of my sims games and it ran amazing.
But my driver is pretty old now and there's no way to update it.

I told my parents Sims 3 didn't work and they were actually going to get me a card.
But then I needed $70 in books for school D:

I like playing Sims 2.
I haven't really played Sims 3, but it is alright.
I like how in Sims 2 you can make the person walk around.

Well I just got the Sims 2, I got a great deal with every single exp and stuff pack used, in great shape. So I have no plans to buy 3.

I haven't played 1 since I bought 2, mostly becuase I've still got like 15 expansions and stuff packs left to install (i'm not doing it all at once, I want the experience)

I might play sims 1 again though, becuase Sims 2 really introduced me to custom content. I realize Sims 2 has a much larger custom content community then Sims 1, however there's still a bunch of stuff for Sims 1 that could revitalize my game.
