Problems with the Game

OK...so I bought Sims 3 the day it came out.

I've been playing, however, the screen keeps blacking out and my computer ends up restarting, so i haven't gotten to fully ejoy the game yet. ://

++I DO have all hte system requirments so I'm not sure whats wrong...:/

has anyone else had thsi problem?

It may be because you need more memory. If you've heard of the game The Movies (like its title, you create movies while balancing the moods of your actors/directors, getting awards, having enough money, etc.), I have it. When I first installed it and played it, five minutes into the game, my computer blacks out and restarts.

The problem was mainly because I didn't have enough memory to support the game.

I read someone having a similar issue and they fixed it by limiting the frame rate that the game played at. Sadly I can't remember how they did this. I think their computer restarts were caused by the graphics card over heating.
