I feel the beginning of depression.
I feel misunderstood
I feel lost
I feel alone
I feel empty
I feel it coming.
There are my feelings. Depression strikes me again.
Prayers to prevent it needed.
Help needed.
Someone my age to talk to needed.
Anyone will work as well...
cry
I cry every night
Suffer insomnia
feel worthless
I'm ONLY 13 I WANT TO BE HAPPY!!!

salam sis namin, I know what you are talking about, i had known alot of people like this, it is the missing of the love of ALLAH and the mixing of shaytan in ALLAH's place, you see sis no matter how much you feel distressed, it can always go away, but it just wont go away on its own, ALLAHuakbar, do you think after shaytan gave you this he will be able to take it away, never ask shaytan by doing what he tells you to do, ask ALLAH for fogiveness, and you will understand, usually im a really religious guy, but sometimes shaytan takes over me, and sometimes ALLAH helps me to take over him, there have been times i was like you, during salah i had no proper khudhu (concentration) but Wallahi, ALLAH helped me all the way and ALLAH knows best, and I pray for you ya ikhwati. wasalam.

Thanks, this feeling has happened to me before, and I have a feeling it is going to happen again. The feeling you get when one is depressed is so empty, lifeless.
Right now...I guess I feel worthless...
And it is really hard to talk to people about this, face to face.

Perhaps you can consult to me. And I am sure you want to talk about it privately. If you can't tell people in real, you can tell people here. I am not really that religious, and I am stressful. But I can still overcome them. ^_^ You just need someone to talk with and someone who you can rely.

It may take some time, but the least you can do is take control of your depression slowly. Action is needed.

You should really take this seriously. It is difficult to speak of such things. stare

Anyway, 13 is a very stressful age. Many physical and social changes tend to occur at that age. If you need someone to talk to feel free to drop me a PM.

At least know that everyone suffers depresson from time to time and it can go away. 3nodding

I kinda think depression as a phase...
It happens to everyone in my school

Everything in our life is a phase. Including depression.

How does it happen to everyone in your school? It could be in various ways. Some may just have depression because of studies, some may happen because of work.

But the common depression I found is because what happened around their environment. That includes friends, and family.

I've been talking to dozens of people of the Gaians before, and most likely they will talk about family and friends. Hatred and despair. Depression can be heavy, or simply to say some could get worst, some are just the normal stress you will go trough. Working and learning in a stress mood can produce a quality outcome. But things you do if you are depressed can affect not only what you do, also yourself.

If you are suffering depression from your family or friends, then you need someone to talk to, someone who is willing to hear and help you in anyway they could. Either talk, advice, or simply hear anything you want to tell. Sometimes you just have to let it out. ((Ranting? If someone is willing to hear. =P ))

I went trough depression when I was in school. But I went to a boarding school, and to live in a hostel with most of the students there deserting me is tough. And it was 5 years. But I didn't give up, or that will show I am weak. Things get even hotter when I was 16. I "blow up" a non-stop usage washing machine, and everyone blame me. They don't care what I lost, they are only selfish for themselves. Oh well, old story.

But if you are truly depress, don't stop yourself from speaking it out. If you are angry, release your anger on something. ((As long as you don't break it. ._." )) And if you are sad, and feel like crying, don't stop your tears from running. Crying is not for the weak, crying is for those who are strong. Strong enough to face the truth. When I feel like crying I will let myself cry. It feels a lot better as if the tears wash your burdens.

If you want to share anything, think of us like a diary or a journal. And we, the "diaries and journals" will reply and try to help you to make you feel better. ^_^

Alsalam Alaykum dear sister =] ~

Please dont worry at all =].. because every problem has a solution, I think people usually bring depression to them selves , by thinking , or by taking the tension to remove it x3..

Just try the daily adhkar, Qur'an, try not to think too much. Seeing the way the world is may bother one with depression, needs to learn let go and realise we can't bear the burden of everything which cause distress to us.

Strive for khusyoo in solat. Don't quote me though, these are things which work for me. Though I personally feel, if there is physical illness, so is there a mental one.

Abu Hurairah narrates that the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "When Allah wants to be good to someone, He tries him with some hardship."

Abu Hurairah also reports that Allah's Messenger, peace be upon him, said: "For every misfortune, illness, anxiety, grief, or hurt that afflicts a Muslim -even the hurt caused by the pricking of a thorn - Allah removes some of his sins."

Ibn Mas'ud said: "I visited the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, while he had a fever. I exclaimed: 'O Messenger of Allah! You have a high fever! ' He said: 'My fever is as much as two among you [might have]. ' I asked: 'Is it because you have a double reward?' He replied: 'Yes, that is right. No Muslim is afflicted with any hurt, even if it is no more than the pricking of a thorn, but Allah wipes off his sins because of it and his sins fall away from him as leaves fall from a tree'."

Wasalam.. =]

Depression doesn't count if you are young or old. It will happen and can happen. Either they are Muslim or not, they can feel depressed.

I was in a Islamic school yet not everyone there is really that religious. Simply to say, a Muslim by name, but not a Muslim by heart.

Pray but look at how they treat others, like bullshit. But I know more people been trough worst than me. I only take it as a part of my life, just because I've been trough it, and because I can overcome it.

If it strikes you, it strikes you. But who are us when we know someone is depressed? Ignore them, or pretend you know nothing about it?
