For the time being she didn't much feel like un-gluing herself from his side. They were sitting rather cozily together at the watering hole still, enjoying the shade and it's forgiving refreshment from the scorching sun overhead.
If just for the moment her thoughts were not on her unrequited crush, but that was mostly by her doing so purposely. Jua was certainly a nice lion (though saying so to a Firekin, let alone a fellow Firekin, might be seen as a bit sappy unless you were young enough to get away with it. Ursa certainly didn't qualify.), and she refused to think that this had been using him in any way. Well, maybe a little, but needs were needs and neither of them were attached, so why not?
Gods, but she sounded just like her grandmother, she'd bet.
The only real problem with the moment was the fact that she couldn't think of anything proper to say (If Azar was there he'd be more shocked that she was speechless for once more than the position he'd find them in.). She hoped that Jua might find words to fill in the silence before it became awkward or uncomfortable.

Jua's feelings were pretty much the same as he yawned and lay out with Ursa. That had been, well, different. No complaints from the teenage lion though. He was pretty relaxed, all things considered. Or at least his body was, his brain was... everywhere else.
What would Yu do if she ever found out about this one? Or worse... Azula. Hell, even Iroh probably wouldn't be pleased about this one. But still, the only real person who he was worried about was Yu. Well, it wasn't his fault. She hadn't exactly been clear. Or... ever clear. About anything. With anyone. Ever. So... served her right. Kinda.
If she ever found out about this she was going to kill him.
"Well Stripes, that was something else." He said happily, maintaining his good mood despite himself. He could worry about Yu later, when he actually had to talk to her again. "What do you wanna do now?" He asked, rather liking Ursa anyway.
She was a lot like her brother.

Iroh was having a great day! In fact, it was probably one of the best days ever. Definitely. He didn't know why. Everything just felt so wonderful and fun and perfect. Generally he spent his days enjoying himself and enjoying life but this... this was a new level of happiness. And he had done nothing to bring it on! That probably served to make it even better for him, in the long run.
It was a beautiful, awesome day.
Padding along, humming to himself, the pudgy white lion thought he might like to get a drink, and there was a watering hole nearby. He shifted the angle of his trajectory slightly and headed for the spot, thinking about a nice cool drink and blissfully, naively, nothing else.
Moving closer, he spotted two familiar forms sitting together, though he had never seen either hanging out before. How fun to find them in one place!
"Hello Ursa, Jua!" he called with a laugh, bounding over, "what are you two up to?"

Thank goodness, it seemed without sensing any distress Jua had thought to speak and break the silence on his own without her needing to say a thing. She had just relaxed and was about to reply to "Cloud Puff" when her ears picked up the sound of Iroh's voice.
She jumped up and away from her seat and from Jua as if his mane had come alive with death's love bites (Her personal term for the poisonous snakes that survived their home's harsh environments.).
"Iroh!? What are you doing out here at the oasis?" She called back, a little TOO happy, for some reason she just KNEW that she didn't want Iroh to find out, or for anyone to find out, but especially not Azar, or their father, or Iroh. Too bad for her, then, that her fur was already practically saturated with Jua's scent.

"Crap..." Jua mumbled under his breath. He really didn't want this of all the damn things. His best friend finding out he'd slept with his sister? On his list of things that weren't good... well, that was one of them. To be fair, Azula or Yu would be worse... but this was still not good.
"Hey! Yeah! Iroh! Erm..." He tried to think of something clever to say, shooting away from Ursa as quickly as possible, though he knew that wouldn't matter much. He smelt like her... Iroh would notice that, no question. "Good to see you out here!" He grinned as widely as possible.
In hindsight, he usually did that when he had done something dumb and didn't want anyone else to find out. Which meant that Iroh was going to clue in, no doubt. Because Iroh knew him pretty well. It came with the best friend territory.
Crap. Crappy crap crap.

Iroh blinked.
There were a few things Iroh was and a few things Iroh wasn't. Iroh was aggressively happy and nice. Iroh wasn't one for drama or anger. Iroh was observant and kind. Iroh wasn't stupid or oblivious. Iroh was understanding and intelligent. Iroh wasn't a fan of stumbling into awkward situations.
The smells his keen nose was picking up were alarming at best. He looked from Jua to Ursa with his soft, warm eyes, his expression unreadable as he took them in. He sat down, tail flicking behind him.
"You two are acting a bit suspicious, don't you think?" He asked offhandedly. Maybe he was jumping to conclusions? Maybe everything was totally cool, and he was just letting his assumptions run away. So what if that had never happened before? So what if he was particularly good at reading people? Sure, he was just being paranoid. He smiled as he always did, a big, warm, trusting smile, but if they were really listening they would notice that his broken purr was uncharacteristically absent.
"So, uh, I'll ask again. What are you up to?"

Ursa immediately felt guilty. A liar she was not, and she could not lie to Iroh of all lions, of all her siblings, even. He knew her better than any of the others would, understood and accepted her more than anyone else.
She flinched and looked down, ears flattening and rocking back like a scolded cub's.
"Well.... um..."
But still, how do you tell your beloved brother that you just slept with his best friend completely unplanned, unannounced, and on the first official meeting no less!
"... Remember how dad has been really irritated this week...? Well... he might just go balistic if we don't keep a certain secret now."
She glanced away, feeling embarrassed was all, and a bit worried that it might put a strain on things with Jua. She shot the white maned lion an uncertain glance.

Jua just smiled like an idiot during this, "We... well... we kinda hit it off I guess... so could you... not tell your grandma about this? Azula would... kinda sorta kill me." He mentioned just for his own sake. Because he would really rather not be murdered by a very angry mentor.
"Sorry, about the... well..." He shrugged helplessly, "We didn't mean for you-" Or anyone. "To find out this way."
This was so awkward. How was he supposed to expain sleeping with Iroh's sister? Seriously... this would be like... well... no. No. His sisters would rip poor Iroh's eyes out through his skull... so it was hard to make a comparison.

Iroh raised his eyebrows as he listened, nodding slowly. Their dad had been a bit on the grumpy side, he'd noticed. He kept his expression gentle, not letting even the slightest trace of judgment slip into his eyes or onto his muzzle. He looked from Jua to Ursa and then back again.
So if he was hearing this correctly, his best friend and his, though he knew he shouldn't phrase it like this because it was unfair to the others, favorite sister had...
He cleared his throat, and then started to laugh.
"I'm sorry, but I don't know if you're messing with me or if you're serious. Either way, I don't know why I'm laughing. But... I mean. Do you two even know each other? I hang out with you both so much and you've never mentioned each other! Seriously, what is this?"

Well... she had been braced for a lot, but laughter wasn't one of those things. She stared at Iroh in a bit of a shocked state, then recovered, not sure if she felt more embarrassed or... well, she wasn't sure what, not angry, not sad, not frustrated, but not happy or relieved either. She felt aggressively blank.
"Yes, Iroh, Jua and I mated. You can say it."
She stared back at her brother, eerily calm as she said so.
"I hope it doesn't make things awkard between you two, but... well, we've always known that we had a lot in common. I certainly understand why you two are so close, and I think that Jua was a good choice for my first."
................................. WAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION. OKAY, SO MAYBE SHE WAS A LITTLE NERVOUS STILL AFTER ALL. HA HA HA.

Jua slapped his forehead with his paw, "Ursa... I'm sure you could have made this sound weirder if you had really, really tried but... seriously." He smiled a little at Iroh, "Look... yeah... we well... We did the dirty deed and all that junk."
Still, with Iroh laughing, he really couldn't help but crack a stupid grin. "Look, I don't want this to be weird or awkward. Iroh, you're still my friend... and yeah... your sister and I sort of just met... but hey, she was a lot like you, so we hit it ******** there Jua, was about all he could think about after that one. Yeah, your sister is a lot like you, so I decided to have sex with her. Way to go there. Totally didn't seem weird in the slightest.
"ANYWAY. I'm really sorry about this... we didn't mean for you to find out this way. I still want to be friends, if you aren't pissed about all this... um... what happened between your sister and I." He shrugged helplessly.
This was just not coming out right.

The laughter stopped. His face still looked like it was laughing, except the sound was no longer coming out. He wasn't moving, either, frozen, though his eyes moved from Ursa to Jua again. And again. And a third time, just to be sure. Then he dropped the smile and opted for a confused face.
"You... what? No, I mean. I think you... explained well enough, thanks. I... I need to wrap my head around. Uhm. Good choice, huh? Oh dear. A-and. Wait. A lot like me? That's. Nice? No. Wait. I'm... huh."
He wasn't finding words very easily, which was not normal for him. None of this was normal, of course, so why should that surprise him? He blinked again, shook his head, looked at them and then found, with all this information settling, that he couldn't look at them both at the same time.
"No, I'm not pi-- mad. Why should I be? You have every right to, uhm. Meet whoever you want and... do whatever you want... when you meet them. Sure. I understand that." He didn't sound sure, and he sounded like he was really trying to convince himself rather than them.
He blinked at the floor. Was there supposed to be some way to continue conversation? He couldn't even think of a subject to change to. This all was kind of the only thing in his head right now, and even without anything else it was too much for his mind to encompass. And the weirdest thing was he didn't know how to respond to it. He wasn't feeling any kind of reaction. He was just... digesting.

Even Ursa kind of stared at Jua a little for his wording on that one. He hadn't slept with her simply because she reminded him of Iroh, right? .... Well, even if he had (........), she couldn't talk, she'd slept with him just because nature had insisted, and to get her mind off of Azar.
............ Yeah, this was just really, really weird.
"I... Iroh, I just meant that Jua is a good guy. I mean..."
There were a lot of BAD choices she could have made, like...... okay, maybe not.
"Well, I mean-- you're best friends for a reason, right?" Why did she feel as if she needed to apologize, so badly?

"Well I didn't mean it like that!" Jua cried, exhasberated and not meaning to have it sound so astronomicaly stupid. Because that had come out so very wrong. "I just meant your sister is pretty cool like you are!" He rubbed his face with his paws, "This is just so wrong no matter how I try and fix what I just said."
He sighed, "Look, can you not tell anyone? The last thing I want is for my dad to catch wind of this one..." Or worse, his mother. Or Azula. Or Yu. Or any number of lions who would kill him for a little teenage fling. And oh, the number in his head just kept on rising higher and higher...
"Iroh, look, you're my best friend, you still are... this is just... We had some fun, but we can all still hang out? Party? Have fun... Not like this I mean! I mean like... friends have fun... when they... do the stuff we normally do!"
Oh, now this was productive conversation now wasn't it?

He shook his head.
"Of course Jua is a nice guy," he said to Ursa, offering a small smile at a great effort. He looked at Jua, though he still seemed to be speaking to his sister, "I know he is. And I don't think I want to stop being friends with anyone. I'm just. This is very. Uh."
Iroh almost looked offended, if he were capable of such an expression, when Jua spoke.
"Of course I won't tell anyone, if you don't want me to. In fact, even if you hadn't brought it up I very seriously doubt I'd strike up a casual conversation with 'hey, do you want to know what my best friend and sister did?'" Sarcasm, his only defense in this situation. And even then, it wasn't a very cutting brand. His voice was soft, as if he were still worrying about offending.
He ran out of words. Looking down at the sand, he shuffled his paws a bit, only to look up again in dismay when Jua made the suggestion of them having fun, after just using that word to describe what these two had just done. He let his mouth hang open, but he could not find anything to say, so he just feebly shook his head.
