He lived with the man for 3 yrs. One night a burglar tried to rob the place. He shot max with a tranquilizer and killed the man. When max woke up he found his owner dead. He was sad that the man who had cared so much about him had been killed and max couldn't do anything. He ran away and has grown cold. It is hard to gain his trust after what happened with his owner. Although he had fallen in love with a female wolf named Starshine but a bear found her and slaughtered her He doesn't hate humans but doesn't really trust most of them. At nights he still grieves for the man that had cared for him and his lost love. ((=[ Sad))

They even did a test where they put his in a metal container filled with water. They would have him swim till he couldn't anymore and almost die but they would then pump the water out and air in. He escaped after he killed the old man. He knew Amiko and has come for revenge. She had rejected him and had slashed open his cheek once.
