~RACES~
Magic Capable

Were:
The were races have three forms- Magic-immune, but physically-weak human form, magic-capable beast form, and their race-naming 'were' human-beast hybrid forms, in which they can use magic but are more susceptible to physical injury. Each were-race has their own strengths and weaknesses. No correlation between transformations and the full moon has been found, appearently just being human myths.

Succubus/Incubus:
Magic-based creatures, able to change their appearance at will, although all have a clan marking somewhere on their body they cannot hide. Winged, often with tentacle-styled protrusions that they're able to call forth at will. Mind-readers, feed off emotion, embody the 'you are what you eat' motto. Incubi are human/succubus hybrids, generally weaker, but more common.

Not Magic Capable

Undead:
Corpses reanimated by dark magic, they can be ripped apart and put back together, able to survive anything, as long as the brain is intact. Not magic capable.

Vampires:
Your standard blood-drinking, dies-in-sunlight vampires. Not magic capable.

Bio: Sioko moved from a small city in the middle of nowhere, accepted in on an academic scholarship. He is a fast learner- although he loses the information just as fast unless it interests him-, but lacks dearly in the social skills department. Very sarcastic, alienates almost everyone he meets with his dark, cynical attitude. Surprisingly insecure, avoids relationships- romantic and platonic- like the plague. Quick to anger, even quicker to become violent. Duel majors in torture and philosophy, interested in religions, especially older ones with a lot of history. Lurks around the library quite a bit, sensitive to sounds because of this. Clan marking on his inner left thigh, silver and blue wings.

Bio: Mait may not be able to withstand the sun, but that hasn't stopped him yet. He's not particularly gifted, but he's an above-average fighter thanks to his enhanced healing ability. He's kind, if stubborn, but often forgets that some students aren't as durable as he is and that he needs to be careful. His vampirism isn't exactly respected amongst some of the students, so he normally tries to hang back so as not to upset anyone. He has an old burn scar on most of the right half of his face he keeps covered with his hair. Any questions asked about it are immediately dodged. He found himself fascinated by both Sioko's ability and his surprising lack of prejudice. He quickly befriended Puffi, although that's no amazing feat.

A bit of an air-head, but a straight-A student in all her electives. Horrible at math and healing magic.
