Story

Yun Kouga began her career as a doujinshi and debuted in 1986 with the original manga Metal Heart, serialized in Comic VAL. She is the creator of the popular series Loveless and Earthian, along with many manga and anime projects, including character designs for Gundam 00.

Volume 1
Sixteen-year-old Hisayoshi "Kumi" Tajima wasn't looking for love. But after he accidentally bumps into teen idol Rima Fujio, he can't stop thinking about her. Living worlds apart, he'll never have a chance to meet her again. Until Rima's former agent Ikeshiba gives him the perfect opportunity--by turning Hisayoshi into an idol himself! Too bad Rima only sees him as competition for Ikeshiba's attention...

How far would you go for love? With Hisayoshi as her tutor, Rima attempts to enroll in prestigious Hakuô High. Although Hisayoshi's feelings for her are distracting, Rima needs his help if she's ever going to pass the entrance exam. And when he lands his first job in a commercial, she realizes that he's got the potential to be a star...one bigger than herself!

No matter how much closer Hisayoshi gets to Rima in the showbiz world, she only retreats further from him emotionally. Anxious over Hisayoshi's blossoming career along with her own mother's disappearance, Rima's nerves are on edge. But will everything change when Hisayoshi's caught on a date with another woman?!

Rima begins to question her feelings for Ikeshiba after the night he kissed her. Finding herself shocked that it wasn't what she imagined it would be like, her thoughts turn to Hisayoshi. But Hisayoshi, frustrated with Rima's constant rejection, has gone missing. Will his absence finally make Rima realize how much he means to her?!
