You can open the door to the final boss area by turning on all three switches at the same time - if you click one of them without the others it'll sound an alarm for 60 seconds, after which the other switches will be marked on your map. You need at least 3 people for this just to turn on the switches. I recommend a full crew of CL9.5+ people with defibs (though it can be done with less).

Note: After hearing a speech by Labtech X, he disappears and you see the tail of Sealab X. After defeating the tail, the Left Arm + Body + Right Arm of Sealab X will come out together (they stay together) but they count as three separate mobs you can target. Oh and did I mention you get fried by the lazer beam of doom if you hit the body? Yea, that too. If that wasn’’t enough, Grunny Command Subs will appear randomly and after the tail is defeated, you will get bombarded by missiles. All is not lost though. One thing of note is that Sealab X cannot reach the far left wall - while it's targeting someone, everyone else can attack it - missiles kill pretty quick though - but doesn't realize when someone is dead so you can leave a dead person to be missile bait (they do splash damage). Hitting the body will still cause a quick death though.

zOMG LOOT LIST!

Ever Wonder How To Get That Certain Loot That You Need For That Recipe?

HOW TO GET GOOD DROP RATES FOR LOOT/RECIPES/RINGS and ORBS

1. Join a crew with as many people as possible. A crew is the singlemost effective way of increasing your loot drop rate. When one person in the crew has a chance at a drop from an enemy, every member of the crew gets the same chance. This means that getting loot and other drops from enemies is much faster. However, crew drop rates may be affected by the CL of the crew members, so it is best to form a crew with members around the same CL level. If one person in the crew has a very low CL that can reduce the drop rate, but so can having a member with a very high one. Try to ensure that everyone is within blue/green/yellow range.

2. Have the right level CL for the enemies you are fighting. This is vital for a successful loot or orb hunt. Enemies should show up with a 'green' background and with their names in green. This means the enemy is rated at the same level as you, If enemies are blue (easier) you will get drops at a lowered rate, if enemies are 'purple' (extremely easy) you will get virtually no drops at all. Enemies that are 'yellow' (hard) or 'red' (extremely hard) will not give you a higher drop rate, plus it will be more difficult/take longer to beat them. Green is best. The guide below lists recommended CLs for all monsters, at these CLs the majority of those enemies should be green to you.

3. Equip the Angelset (Healing Halo, Divinity, Wish and Hunter's Bow on one hand) or the Fitness Ring or both to increase your luck stat. Players have a hidden luck stat, and that affects your drop rate from enemies among other things. Equipping rings that boost your luck stat should improve your chances of getting drops.

4. Fill your G'Hi meter. One of the G'Hi abilities you can learn in the game is a luck boost. If you fill your G'Hi meter regularly (go to Barton Town, stand among a lot of other players, or join a full crew of 6 to raise this) the luck boost will take effect. It may only be a small increase, but in conjunction with the other tips here you should see an improvement in your drop rates.

Willpower-Ability to resist getting stunned and other negative effects

Speed-How fast you run

Weight-Ability to resist being knocked as far back

Health-Your Hit Points. How much life you have before getting daed

Luck-Impacts your drop rates for orbs and other items! May also impact chance to hit in a smaller way?

-------------------------------------------------------------
Ghi Abilities!

You gain Ghi abilities slowly as you play the game. Being in crews and staying near each other helps you gain new Ghi abilities. I hear that casting healing and buffs on your crew-mates also gets you closer to earning your next boost!

There are the following Ghi Abilities:
Willpower
Health
Luck
Dodge
Accuracy

Each of those starts out with no boost and then you earn a feeble boost. You gain each boost in feeble and then cycle back and to getting stronger versions of each boost until you eventually get Major boosts.

You do not need to *use* these abilities! They are active all of the time but their effectiveness depends on your Ghi meter. So if you have a Health Boost that gives 100 extra HP, and your Ghi meter is at 50% then you will get only 50 extra HP. This is one good reason to stay in large crews or to visit Barton town often.

Rings: What they do

________________________________________________

Soulbound?
A lot of people still don't understand what it means. Soulbound means a certain item, in your inventory, cannot be traded or sold in the Marketplace they can only be sold in the Shops [E.g. Back Alley Bargains]. All rings found in zOMG! are soulbound to it's user and nobody else can use it, the rings in the Marketplace were found before December 8th, the day Soulbinding was added to zOMG! The rings that are soulbound are better salvaged than sold in shops for only 2 gold. You can purchase a ring on the Marketplace, and as long as you do NOT equip it, it will stay "un-soulbound". That means you can turn it around and sell it again if you want to do so. But the moment you put it on your avatar's finger, it's yours forever.

Attack Rings:
User Image Bump - This ring deals moderate damage and knocks the enemy back a fair distance, which is perfect for creating some quick space in case you need to heal or used a ranged ring.

User Image Dervish - An AoE attack that hits all enemies around you (360°) also knocking them back giving you some time to recover.

User Image Fire Rain - An AoE attack which summons fire to rain down on any foes in a large radius, with you as the center of the attack. Hits exactly 3 times.

User Image Guns, Guns, Guns - Summons various firearms to attack the enemy. Deal's moderate damage and also has a nice knockback effect while having the same cooldown duration as the Mantis ring.

User Image Hack - It may have a slow cooldown and a rather big stamina cost, however it is the most powerful ring and best for 1-on-1's.

User Image Heavy Water Balloon - Launches a water balloon to deal AoE damage to an extremly wide-radius of enemies while debuffing each target's accuracy and dodge rate by a small amount. Also has a moderate attack power and long cooldown. Causes quite a lot of lag if used at full-rage.

User Image Hornet's Nest - An AoE attack in which you thow a hive of hornets into a group of enemies. This ring hits three times and does damage similar to Fire Rain while having a small chance to inflict fear on each target.

User Image Hot Foot - Creates an area of hot steam under a monster and does damage slowly over time while debuffing the target's dodge rate. This ring can be use from mid-range.

User Image Hunter's Bow - Summons a bow to attack the enemy for a weak attack. Enemies hit by the attack will become slowed, which also stacks with gumshoe, making enemies run at a snail's pace.

User Image Mantis - Summons a katana to quickly strike your foe. This ring has a fast cooldown, low stamina cost and strong damage output.

User Image Shark Attack - Summons a shark to swim towards your opponent and deal damage while moderately knocking your enemy back. This ring can be used from medium-range.

User Image Shuriken - Throws a barrage of ninja stars to deal damage to your target. It has a low attack rate, but also debuffs your target's accuracy.

User Image Slash - A ring which summons a sword to strike your foes. While slower than the mantis ring, it's considerabily more powerful. Not to mention it hits all enemies within 180°.

User Image Solar Rays -This ring is ranged and has a moderate cooldown and stamina cost. Also has the second-longest range of any ring.

Healing Rings:
User Image Bandage - Heals you or an ally slowly over time. More charges yield more HP restored. Bandage is equal to Diagnose, Bandage heals over time, yet Diagnose instantly heals you and ally around you.

User Image Defibrillate - This is a life saver, literally. It provides your allies with a quick jolt of electricity to awaken them from dazed status. More charges unlock more rings upon revival, while higher levels restore more HP. If you use it with low rage, unlocking two rings, wait for the cooldown and use it on that same ally to unlock more rings.

User Image Diagnose - Heals yourself and others around you for a minor ammount of hp. More charges increases the amount of HP restored, which can be very useful if everyone in the party is suffering damage. You don't even have to click on a ally!

User Image Meat - Restores a large chunk of health and adds to your max HP. This ring has a long cooldown.

User Image Wish - Restores a portion of HP to a crew member of your choice by making a wish on a dandelion. This ring has a short cooldown and restores a moderate amount of HP for a low stamina cost.

Buff Rings:
User Image Adrenaline - A ring which is used to increase your ally's dodge stat.

User Image Coyote Spirit - Increases your speed slightly but has a long duration.

User Image Divinity - Gives you and others around you to get a Stamina boost, which helps you hold out and attack for longer in battles.

User Image Fitness/??? - A buff-type ring which adds a small boost to all of your stats. Specifically, it adds about 5 to your dodge and accuracy each CL (50 at CL10), about 20 weight per CL ( 200 at CL10) and increases your Health and Stamina Regeneration by minor amounts.

User Image Fleet Feet - Allows you and others around you to run very fast for a short duration while also providing a small dodge boost. Use this ring to make speedy get-aways.

User Image Ghost - Increases the amount of times you dodge an attack.

User Image Healing Halo - You and your crew receive glowing halos above your heads, which increases your "HP Regeneration" stat and lets you recover more HP when kneeling.

User Image Improbability Sphere - Deflects attacks from enemies on a regular basis.

User Image Iron Will - Increases your Willpower, which decreases the chances you'll be affected by willpower-based status effects and increases the chance that you can use them on enemies.

User Image Keen Aye - This ring can only be used on yourself, increasing you accuracy.

User Image Knife Sharpen - Only works on Ally's but is useful if they keep missing enemies, this increase your teammate's accuracy.

User Image My Density - Increases your Weight, which lowers your center of gravity, making it harder for monsters to knock you back. This buff only costs a small amount of stamina to use, but also has a very short duration. Also, you can keep your slim figure.

User Image Pot Lid - This has a small chance of deflecting ranged attacks.

User Image Rock Armor - This ring increases an ally's defensive power for a long duration.

User Image Teflon Spray - This ring absorbs the damage dealt to you and can deflect an attack back to the enemy. It's extremely useful if you are under a large attack.

User Image Turtle - The ultimate ring in terms of a short-duration-defensive buff. Summons a turtle shell to protect you. Uses quite a bit of stamina and has a long cooldown. This ring lowers the amount of damage you take by a lot, on a fair few occasions, you don't get hit at all inside the duration of the ring. However, sitting down may increase the damage to you take to a point that you'll begin taking damage again.

Crowd Control Rings:
User Image Duct Tape - Wraps the enemy up in duct tape to keep it from moving. The monster will be freed once hit again. This is useful for wrapping up enemies when you need to rest to recover stamina.

User Image Gumshoe - Slows down your target by sticking gum under their feet.

User Image Scaredy Cat - Scare enemies away for a short period of time, giving you a chance to recover. This ring appears to be very underestimated and is an important ring that will save your life.

User Image Taunt - If your teammate is under attack, use this ring to make yourself the target of the selected enemy. Basically, it keep you friends out of danger.

User Image Quicksand - This ring lets you create a quagmire at any point on the screen, causing the enemies, in that area, to become "stuck" for a short period of time.

PowerUps - What are they
________________________________________________

PowerUps are extremely helpful if you are under pressure, the game can be completed without the use of them, however, it is nice to know you have a special back-up.

To use one of them, open up your PowerUp tray. The little red arrow pointing up on the left side of your ring tray, you must click that and it will bring up the PowerUp tray.

Any PowerUps you have will be displayed there. PowerUps come with a certain number of charges. Some have only a few charges, but each charge has a long duration, while others have lots of charges, but don't last long when used.

Types of PowerUps currently:

Superchargers - These PowerUps replenish health and stamina. They don't cost any Stamina to use them, so they can be very useful in battle when you're starting to run low stamina, or if you're taking so much damage that you can't heal it all with your rings. They can really get you out of trouble. However, they do have a cooldown, once you use one of them you can use another in 15 seconds.

Ring Buffers - When you use this certain baby, then everyone of your currently equipped rings operate at 150% normal effectiveness for an entire hour! This can be enormously effective for you since that means all offensive and defensive powers, as well as stat changes, are all made that much more powerful while using them. This is even more useful than the Superchargers.

Double Orb - These PowerUps make you more efficient at gathering orbs from defeated opponents. Thus, you get twice as many charge orbs from a defeated a foe that drops orbs, which can then be put into your rings to advance their Charge Level.

The Cash pricing on PowerUps is designed to be extremely inexpensive. PowerUps lasting a few minutes usually cost less than two cents per charge, whereas PowerUps lasting an hour are still less than a dime per use.

ALL Powerups are Soulbound!

Shallow Seas Tips!

plasmafire
In the third level of the shallow seas, where the lantern fish attack you on the narrow pass, elffromspace and I noticed something the other day.

If one person runs ahead of everyone else, the fish concentrate their attacks on that person....and seemingly ignore everyone else.

So go in a group (as you should almost always)
And make sure at least one person has defib.
(Preferably everyone in the group should have a defib ring.)
Let one person run way ahead of you.
Defib the person and repeat this process until you make it to the lab.

CAREFUL: on the screen with the grunnies, if you attack them they bring all the Fish!

Also on the screen with only one batch of robos, and on the last screen where the path is close to the fish, use of any Area attack will draw all of the fish!

Additionally, to take out the Queen easier, I suggest taking out one guard, and then the other before the queen. You can kill the guards quickly and it reduces the number of things attacking you!

-------------------------------------------------------------
Hiving Tips

The Hive, also known as the Star Portal, is an alien world where your crew will face wave after wave of progresively harder aliens until you're overwhelmed. Watch out, even the walls attack if you get too close! It is a mini-game of sorts since it will reward you with orbs if you make it through enough waves.

There are 3 badges to be gained by fighting in the hive:
Alien World Refugee (5 Waves?)
Alien World Survivor (20 Waves?)
Alien World Conqueror (50 Waves)

The hive scales itself to your crew's CL. You definitely MUST go in with a crew all at the same CL! Any Cl from 7 and up works well, but the hive will scale to your strongest member!

The hive also scales to crew size. The more people, the more monsters you get. The hive is actually easiest for a medium sized crew of 3-5 skilled players.

RINGS:
BUFFS BUFFS TEAM BUFFS - You will not make it far without having a good set of buff rings in your crew. You can have each player bring a few buffs, or may assign one person to being a dedicated buffer. This will help them attract less attention and get attacked less. If so, that person will not bring any attack rings, but only buff rings, healing rings and crowd control rings.

You'll definitely want to have: Divinity, Rock Armor (remember this doesn't work with turtle!) and or Improbability Sphere, and Adrenaline. It is also useful to have Iron Will, Coyote Spirit and Teflon.

CROWD CONTROL: Duct Tape or Scaredy Cat. These rings are invaluable for delaying the next round and also useful for fighting! They DO miss! Improve your odds by having full Ghi, and using Iron Will or Fitness. Do NOT bring both rings in the same crew. Using them both on the same monster causes issues! Also, do not attack any critter that you want to remain taped or asleep!

PERSONAL SHEILDS - If you have players who intend to get a lot of agro and do a lot of attacking, they should try to bring along Ghost, Meat and Turtle.

PLAY

Stay near the center. This will help you avoid the tentacle attacks from the walls and will make it easier to heal and buff each other!

Warn before casting Divinity so any players who've wandered a bit can come into range!

At the end of each wave, if you leave one critter alive and use Duct Tape or Scaredy Cat on it, then the next wave will not start till you kill it! This is a great way to heal and regain stamina! You should make sure to do this any time any member of the crew is at less than half health or stamina! Be sure to use this time to refresh any buffs that have worn off! Duct Tape and Scaredy Cat DO miss! You should reduce the missing by keeping a full Ghi, and using Iron Will and or Fitness. If the CC misses, have everyone heal the person the monster is attacking!
