Let me get things straight. Here I am a Shi'a and respect all Sunnis.
You need to do the same as I grew up with A GREAT family and we DO NOT hit our selves with stone after prayer. We are not stupid and we don't hit each other on a special day or time.
Only SOME people do, and when they do, the they do it out of love.
We follow the Qur'an 110% straight. So name ONE thing that we Shi'as do wrong that is written in the Qur'an. You Sunnis don't believe in imam Ali. "Shia" comes from the Arabic phrase shi'at 'Ali, which means the partisans of Ali.
Ali was the son-in-law and cousin of Muhammad, and Shi'as believe that he was the prophet's rightful successor. Ali ruled as the fourth caliph (leader) after Muhammad and you guys don't believe that.
And by the way, Sunnis came after Shi'as. It mean there were Shi'as first on earth which means that Shi'as have more accurate information. =]
If there's anything you guys wanna ask me about Shi'a, feel free to do so. But in the end (Shi'a
and Sunni)
are still Muslims. =]
Okay, stop thinking inside the box. Start thinking something OUTSIDE the box. Don't STUCK UP with your ideas and said you are respecting others, but then you're not doing it. Not pointing out at you, but saying it out in general. That includes me.
Don't post if you are unsure what you are talking about. THINK before you post anything, or it will only cause pain. If you are pointing out something from a source, then try to post the link so people know you're taking it from a somewhere, not something you "remember" but you actually not. WE NEED PROOF! Not base only on knowledge alone.
If you are saying something that comes from your heart or something that is your own opinion, then make sure you read your post again and think about what you said. Stop and don't point your fingers here and there like you are always right or you know everything.
Okay so here's what from my thought. And I'm warning, don't get offended. If you do then I apologize if I did.
If Ali is the successor of Islam, doesn't this mean Muhammad "failed" to make Islam a success?
I believe, Sunni only believe that Ali help Muhammad to be the successor of Islam, not Ali alone. And all the other Calliph help Muhammad to spread Islam too. But the Prophet Muhammad is the successor of Islam.
So here, I want to say, all of us are a leader. How so? We are leader to ourselves. But what does this have to do with what Sunni and Shi'a is about? It's about us Muslims who are responsible to spread Islam. Even a little and that should do. So how are we so different than the 4 Calliph? We are a Calliph to ourselves, unless you can't lead yourself. Are you a leader to yourself?
