Day darker than night

To you the day is as bright as could be.
Happiness fluttering about.
The sweet aroma flowing through air.
All I smell is death
The sun has burned out
All that is left is the dark and just like death I am cold.
No sun to warm me or to brighten my day.
I see depression and fear.
The smell of death seems so welcoming when your day is darker than night.

It's a short poem. But it's good.
I don't understant the second and third line about hapiness and a sweet aroma, it's weird to put that in when you smell death yourself.

Anyway your the poet and you know why it's there.
It's still a good poem though
