Personality:
Helberd was brought up to be a very Noble and Caring Ceyreni, Though, somewhere during his development, he adapted the mindset that all females are weak creatures in need of protection and therefore will believe that females can't do anything for themselves besides lolly-gag and graze on grasses while gossiping to others. This path of thinking may put him back a few steps on the evolutionary scale, but just because he has chosen this path of thinking does not mean that he has no intelligence. His mother was a smart, quick-witted doe and taught him all she could before her death. On his journey to find a herd to call his own, Helberd travel far and wide, scanning the land for any hints of knowledge - and he was eager to learn. In his time before reaching the Soquili land, he grew as a person. Though he still feels the way he does about females, he can mostly push it back - only showing his true colors if a female does something to upset him....and that can be something hard to do for he is a generally a laid back person. All around Helberd acts as a protector, knows a things or two about life and giving advice, and simple easy to love.
Background:
Helberd's mother was exiled from the herd for reasons unknown to the golden Ceyreni and soon after his birth, she became ill. The sickness caused her to become weak, and with her blindness, the only one that could look after her was Helberd. He gathered water from the stream that they had taken shelter by. He also gathered grasses and berries for his mother, trying his best to keep her from getting sicker and to protect her from the dangers of the forest. Even while trying to care for his mother, he would sometimes sneak off to peak at the herd and watch from afar. Even though he never knew why he could not join them, he wished he could and had no hard feelings towards the group.
Even while his mother was dying, she taught him everything she knew. He grew as he learned, but somewhere in there he acquired the thinking that all females need to be taken care of because of his experience with his mother.
Plots:
-A rival/frend: Helberd has yet to meet a Buck all throughout his lifetime, from his fathers death and separation from the herd. He needs to meet more bucks that will give him a run for his money in the strength department, they would either end up rivals or good friends
-A Fling: Helberd is a huge womanizer, it's only natural that he would he have a fling, yes? I would like a female that would fall for him completely, acting like a lovesick foal and following his every step, but perhaps she would catch him with another Mare and falls into deep seated jealousy and could turn to revenge?
-A Mate: For this plot I would like a strong, independent mare that Helberd would meet and fall for, but still think is weak and needs a protector. She would have to show him her stuff and correct his thinking. This might put him off a bit but she would have to convince him that it's okay and not all Mares need to be protected all the time
