Is it really that great to be dating a girl who is completely independent? Apparently, this "Miss Independent" thing is getting around in music, not just R&B and Hip-Hop music, but all throughout a wide varity of genres.
But I mean... how can you love someone who is completely independent? They don't need you, then they don't want you. Love? I think not. If she can handle her own mental problems, then there would be no bonding, love again, is not made because we connect most mentally and socially. So if she can solve her own problems, such as family, life, and such, there isn't much to talk about besides common interests to keep a bonding relationship. I'm sure it's "sexy" to have an independent girlfriend or wife, but is it truely that great? I'm not saying we, as guys, want a completely dependent girlfriend, because that's just like wayyy to clingy, but what's so great about an independent girlfriend? And no, I'm not trying to be sexist, girls have the right to be who they are, I'm just asking why is this being promoted within people, not just girls. We as humans, are dependent on another, yes? We socialize and share ideas/ideals. That is how we learn, yes?

Well, maybe it's because because boys are a bunch of punks. All they wanna do is get you and then cheat on you with their secretary some day!
Even so, it's not good to be ALL out independent. It'd be nice to have someone hold my hand every now and then D: Awww So kay. You have me and Gummy's hand to hold. Maybe we can skip down a brick road into the sunset someday razz
