mysterious mr. gnome.

ok, so i've been doing everything there is to do to get mysterious mr. gnome. i made a full household and all they do everyday is what you're supposed to do to get the gnome. none of them have gotten the gnome!!!! can anyone give me any tips or tricks

From what I've read you have to send off space rocks for cutting and he may randomly get sent back instead of a cut rock.

I don't know for certain though as I don't have the game myself.

You can get one 3 ways i have found
1. fishing
2. space rock
3. exploring the grave building(forgot its name)

Well when my sim reached level 10 in the criminal career, he'd often steal things while at work. One of those happened to be Mysterious Mr. Gnome.

I got my gnome by exploring the catacombs. I put him in my sims garden and every night (I think 10 pm) he moves to a different location and changes his pose. After awhile he just stops. I don't if he's suppose to do anything else.... is he?

Yes after a while they do not move anymore(sad face)
My one sim caught 8 fishing so I put them around the mail box in a horseshoe. They all stopped in different positions so looks kool. I had one by the fish bowls too. It looked like he was peeking in it. I keep killing the fish for I never remember to feed them.

you can also have a chance to find the mysterious gnome while looking at other household trash (is that true or just rumor?)

i got the the gnome by going into the catacomb. the dude freaks me out he moves at night when they all are asleep i named him mr.creeper

You can also get it by fishing.
Sometimes you may catch an old box instead of fish and you will find it inside the box.

I explored the mauseleum in the graveyard today and got a mr. gnome thing twice in a row!

They're in my front yard...and they move O.o.
