what is i love u baby?

well love is: ai (n) aisuru (v)
and baby is: akachan
i think 'my baby' is: watashi wa akachan
and i love you is: aishiteru

im not sure what the order would be, but i think it would be:

aishiteru akachan-i love you baby

I don't think she's looking for a literal translation XD more of the 'baby' nickname you give to your boyfriend or girlfriend. ^^

suki da yo. would probably be a close equivalent... but there is probably a better one... but I'm horrible with slang XD

Suki - to like

da - the short form of "desu"

yo - emphasis? I dunno how else to describe it ^^

also for "my baby" it would be watashi no akachan. You use the paricle "no" when you are showing ownership ^_^.

Also, you'll want to be careful using "aishiteru" or any form of the original... this is a word of strong love and isn't really thrown around much in conversation even between couples... You hear it a lot in songs but not in daily conversation. Usually "suki" is used for just liking something and "daisuki" is to love and is more common between couples and whatnot. Now that doesn't mean that they don't use aishiteru... but that is just a very deep/more serious kind of love ^_^

sorry... I'm not trying ot hijack your post
