Akemi stood in front of a wooden dummy, punching and kicking it with all her strength. The dummy eventually cracked down the middle leaving Akemi without anything to train with.
She sighed and sat on a bench in the corner of the room, waiting for someone to train with.

Hakkeji walked into the forest behind the ninja academy. It seemed empty. At least, quiet, which was better. He drew a sword, hearing the satisfying slide of the blade leaving the sheath. He swept his feet in a spin, causing many leaves to fly into the air. He muttered under his breath "Release 10%.", and swund. A second later, all the leaves fell to the ground in pieces, the shards numbering three times greater than the origional leaves, except for one, which was left untouched. It drifted down onto Hakkeji's waiting sword. It seemed to fall through, only as soon as it touched it, the leaf fell into a near-powder. "Reseal!" He said, sheathing his sword. He slowly wandered towards the academy. It was far too boring out here, without someone to fight with. He pulled open the door, his eyes resting on a girl sitting down, her hair in a pony tail on her left side. He tossed her a kendo stick and said. "You. Fight me."

Akemi caught the stick and stood up.
"You sure get to the point quickly."

Hakkeji pulled the sword, with it's sheath on and stood at a familiar pose, watching the girl's every move. She seemed inexperienced, but she was a ninja, and had probably some kind of Jutsu at her disposal. He bared his ground, and waited.

Akemi stood still for a moment before quickly pulling a couple shuriken from the pouch at her side and throwing them at the boy.

Hakkeji simply ducked, and cut away the other shuriken. "You'll need to try harder than that. Release 10%." The lightning bolt on his hand flashed for a moment receding from the middle of his finger to about a fourth of the way up it. He brought his sword to bear, and said "Here I come!" while slicing with the sword. Then, if she ducked, he would flip with the sword and kick her stomach, supposedly flinging her through the wall.

Akemi dropped the kendo stick and dove sharply to the right in an attempt to dodge the blade. Mid-air, she pulled out a kunai and threw it at the him.

Hakkeji ignored the kunai as it brushed past his face. It would have hit, had he not been already making an attempt to kick her. However, she dodged to the side, so Hakkeji twisted his sword in an attempt to cut her as she recovered from the roll.

Akemi barely dodged the sword as it swung dangerously close to her head. She landed softly on the ground.
"Ice wind jutsu!" She declared, doing a couple hand seals and lifting her fingers to her mouth.
A burst of icy wind erupted from her lips.

The mist began to leave her mouth as Hakkeji said "Release 30%" Darting back, almost faster than visible. However, as he darted to the side, to attack, his arms were restricted."Stop. We're going on a mission." Kisuke said, holding his arm with one hand. Hakkeji turned and said "You get to live now. Lucky."Suddenly, he turned and left.

Kisuke was walking away from the arena, and diverted toward the training rooms. Hakkeji was in the middle of the attack, which was only at thirty percent. However, only Kisuke knew what that would mean almost certain death if Hakkeji went further. He dashed forward, and stopped him just in time. "Leave. We going on a mission." When Hakkeji left, Kisuke turned toward the girl. "What's your name?"

"Akemi Ichigoya," Akemi said simply, extending her arm to the boy that just walked in. "And what's this I hear about a mission?"

Kisuke looked at her carefully. "It's a B level protection mission, of which people want him dead. Problem is, our third team member is out of commission, so we need someone new. You seem to hold yourself well against Hakkeji, at least for a while. What jutsus do you know?"

"Mostly ice and wind jutsu, but I know a couple genjutsu as well," Akemi said.
