Old cartoons you loved! (+ fantomcat)

yes! I've been googling to try and find episodes of a particular cartoon i used to love as a kid but which no-one seemed to know existed. inally found it- fantomcat!
*dances and is overcome by nostalgia* whee



Happily feeds my childhood love of history, cats and capes mrgreen
(gawd, it first aired in 1995 and I saw the 1st episode! *feels old*)
only ran for 1 and a half series, though we did get the movie of it biggrin



Also I was checking out freakazoid, gargoyles and Teenage mutant 'hero'(it was censored when i was a kid) turtles and the origional power rangers.

Which brings me to ask - what cartoons did you love as a kid? Have any seemingly dissappeared off the face of the earth?

There are a few episodes of Fantomcat on Youtube.

I loved Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, The Angry Beavers, KaBlam and Doug.

I've never heard of Fantomcat. sweatdrop

I loved this show that they had on Cartoon Network at like midnight which was late for me as a kid. xd
But I've never been able to find it.
It was O Canada
Some of those shorts were so odd they scared me a bit as a kid but I thought it was fascinating.

I can't think of any other kind of cartoons that seeminly dropped off the face of the Earth that I liked.
I did like Courage the Cowardly Dog, The Angry Beavers, Ed, Edd 'n Eddy, and a bunch of the other shows they had on Cartoon Network in the 90s

I liked The Angry Beavers, Doug... and my mind's blank right now. I gotta come back tomorrow when I'm awake.

Oh, Ed, Edd 'n Eddy is on sometimes. I saw it just the other day. o.o

Funny Story
My Grandfather watched the Timon and Pumba cartoon . . . when no kids where in the room.

Sweet-My dad watched Yu-Gi-Oh. lol Seriously! After I withdrew myself from the series and put my Yu-Gi-Oh dvds in a box of garage sale stuff and went and pulled them out to watch!! O_O

I've also come home one time and found that he went into my room and got my more mature anime movies such as Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust and Pet Shop of Horrors and watched them. He said they were weird and didn't understand them.....I suspect he just wanted to watched the well endowed female characters....

Why do I think this? Because I've seen him play the nude scenes in the American Pie series in slow motion/rewind them and he closes the door to the computer room to look at porn. stare *sigh*

My mother is a saint to put up with this I think. And my jaw dropped when my brother confronted him about the porn. Go big bro!

I bought the liveaction deathnote film for my sister and apparently my dad actually wtached and enjoyed it. go figure!
