So, I'm currently reading Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson, which is kinda like "realistic" sci-fi in the sense that it takes place in both World War II and the present day, as well as the first Dune book, still in the part where they're figuring out what to do with the spice processing equipment left behind by the Harkonnens.

I love that kind of stuff, especially super-hard sci-fi where everything is scientifically plausible, though a little bit of super-fantastic sci-fi is good every now and then. ^^

Anyone has another good book on this same vein?

(Please note: I HATE DAN BROWN. His stuff is pseudiscientific bullshit. Stealing antimatter from the ******** LHC? Even when the LHC, as ******** powerful as it is, can barely create a few atoms of antimatter? *facepalm*)
