Like me, Gunny is an independent. Enough is enough when it comes to cry babies who whine over non-issues like the birth certificate of the current president.

Conspiracy theories like those spouted by extremists do nothing but weaken our ability to resolve problems in a civilized manner. This isn't what our ancestors worked so hard to have happen.

If it comes out that the 'birthers' have something valid to point out, I'll give them a fair hearing. But the evidence from legitimate sources have closed any hope for this to happen. Hawaii has spoken. Obama is an American by birth for better or worse.

It's long past time to move on and find some valid reason to call for impeachment, for what little good that will do.

Has anybody proven that he didn't renounce his citizenship when he left the country? Because I've heard that one before, and born here or not, if he renounced his citizenship, he's a naturalized citizen now, not a natural-born.

Really though, I just want to know why everyone ELSE has to back up Obama. Can't he just slap down his birth certificate and shut everyone up for good? I mean, Christ...

Lord knows why.He could be plotting some evil antichrist thing.JK lol.But he could have been born on some kind of military base or ebasy building in kenya.Being born on places like that means you become a US citizen,hell you can even be born on a US warship in the south china sea and be a US citizen.But yeah like y'all said if he is a us citizen why didn't he just slap down his papers already.Me on the other hand i would probly shoot the first person to bring it up after a month of dealing with that crap silently.

Yeah, me too. Politics isn't about arguing who can do things better for the country, like it was 30-40 years ago, it's more about who argues the longest so we can more monies and deprive and push down the people who earn all this money in the first place.
