Questing Ain't What it Used to Be...

Is anyone else watching this series and obsessed?
I am... just a little.
Since I started watching the second season I have also been reading the books. Personally I enjoy the TV series a lot more then the books and think it is a wonderful representation of the story even if it is fairly mixed up.
Not only that but I don't think the stories are written very well. However much like Twilight they are entertaining and so I keep reading.

I've heard of it but haven't watched any of the episodes.
I haven't read anything yet either. I want to though. Just to see what all the hype is about. Plus I have heard from a few friends that the books are good.

The thing that is currently annoying me with the books is that in every book the author is like "oh here Sookie have another drop dead gorgeous fella who wants to jump your bones."
It just ends up annoying me when authors feel the need to introduce a million and one characters.

I LOVE True Blood. I haven't gotten to read the books yet (My mom got them for Christmas last year but they've been making their rounds among our family and friends and I haven't gotten to them yet!) I looooove Lafayette, he's my favorite character and also the main reason why I started watching the show. I didn't want to at first, because the first scene I ever saw was Jason and one of his girlfriends going at it, which is not something I wanted to watch with my mom. But then she told me I just had to watch this one scene with Lafayette because he would remind me of someone I know (I have a black friend who is very fabulous hee hee), it was the AIDs burger scene and I've been watching the show ever since.

I saw all 3 seasons of the TV show but did not even know that there are books redface redface
I like it a lot and can't wait for the next season to come out!!!

Me and my mother both absolutely adore True Blood.
I didn't know there was books though o-o;
