YIM RP between Sai and Kiya
The day was long and rather boring. Thona had found that time was slowly passing, yet when he thought about how long it'd been it seemed to have passed by fast. Funny thing, time. No matter, the thoughts seemed to wash away when a single name popped in his head. Nande.... He hadn't seen her in like a day or so. Standing, he scanned his head around. Of course he wasn't looking for her. She was in the same spot he normally left her. Or at least the same general area... In the center of his pride where she was safest.... She needed to be safe.
Nande was infact in the same general area, but deffinatly not in that spot under her tree. Not yet atleast, she had been resting in the den for sometime now. But eventually felt that it was time to return to her tree, and wait for her love to visit her again. She she slowly pulled herself up, and started on her way out to the tree. The place she knew was where they mostly got to see each other. Where he always appeared, and where she got her chance to cling to him. To show how much she lvoed him, before he left her again to watch to make sure there was no danger.
Thona slowly edged his way towards the center of the pride. It was quiet today. Most of the hunteres were probably out doing some hunting. Everyone else seemed to be asleep or some where else then the center of the pride. At first, the tree seemed to be empty of the pink and white lioness that usually occupied the spot. Of course, that didn't put any alarm to Thona. for there was a nice rock surrounding that had a cave somewhere along the end. And before he could totally reach the area, Nande had appeared from the cave in which he figured she'd be in. With the sight of her, he started to move towards her faster.
Nande on the other hand was completely oblivious to her love coming her way, she didn't see him. Or even catch his scent, since her sense of smell wasn't exactly the best out there. Such a usless lion she was, no way to even protect herself if needed. Always living with another who would be the one to protect her, but it never bothered her at all. She was generally a happy lioness, even with all her flaws. Yet these flaws were what made her the lioness she is, the one who is deeply in love with Thona.
Thona saw her flaws as a blessing in his eyes. Never did he have to worry about her finding out about anything. He moved towards her slowly, cleared his throat about ten feet from her so she wouldn't get startled if he snuck up right next to her. He lashed his tail about before taking steps closer to her now. His peridot green eyes focused on her, and her alone. He knew he could get cubs out of her soon. That was his one main thing in live.... Make a army.. "Well, Someone looks radiant as ever" He spoke to butter her up like he had done many times with other females
She didn't expect any others to be around, but when she heard sounds come from another in the area she turned her head to see who it might be. But what she did see she didn't expect, but loved the sight of him so much it showed all over her face. "Thona!" Was the only word the managed to escape from her mouth, as she just stood there happily looking at the male. Though her body didn't want to stay still, she badly wanted to nuzzle her head against him. To show how much she missed seeing him, and to show how much she loved him.
Thona always loved how excited she was when she saw him. Even if it was only an hour later. He walked up to her and gave her a gentle nuzzle. Though it wasn't as affectionate as most would see a couple being. But for Thona, that was as affectionate as he'd ever get without pretending he was some really really nice happy dood. Which almost made him sick when he was acting like one of those types. "Getting in to any trouble?"
When he nuzzled her she couldn't help but to snuggle back against him. It jsut always felt like the right thing to do when he was near, she always wanted to be close to him. And she could have stayed like for forever, or until he pushed her away and walked off. But his question was what made her stop what she was doing. Cuasing her to tilt her head to the side to question him over it, not even answering him. And even if she was getting into any troubles, she probably couldn't even remember it anyways.
He gave her a full tw seconds of snuggling on him before he kinda pushed her off of him. He was greateful for it, but even he had to keep his reputation under wraps. With her it was good. He lifted a paw and patted her rather hard on the head. Probably almost too hard. Oh well, she'd life. He didn't use any of his claws, so at least he knew she wouldn't bleed at least. He was a but rough with her, but not lately. Life had made him soft. He'd need to change that. At least he though he was being soft.
Nande didn't mind it one bit though, it was all oddly normal for her. With how he treated her, she would always see it as how he shows his love to her. And one would even suspect her head was empty, as hard hits don't have much of an affect on her. But even with all of this, she was the same lioness who was madly in love with him. The one who would wait on him day after day, and just generally happy to be around him.
Thona patted her again. "I'm busy, so I'm going to have to go now." He said. Small meetings like this were good. Just a few moments before he moved on just to make sure she was fine and still worshiped him like no other. It made the day better. He moved before she could say anything else and started to head out the rest of his king duties. He had some issues to address. He had seen a small herd of creatures heading this way.... He wasn't sure what they were yet... today was time to investigate.
